Lets be clear here Lestronge....you have your opinion in regard to Brooks so do I as do others...some of us appreciate the work Hastings has done...But you keep hammering down our throat how good Brooks is and yet we have witnessed it for 10 years how his performances have been and we havent played finals while he was our LEADER AND IT WAS ALWAYS HIS TEAM...so there is no aminosity toward yourself,but I have an opinion and so do you...if it differs sobeit....

And lets not pretend you and your fellow Brooks nut huggers didn't have free rein and attacked like rabid dogs against anyone who spoke out against Brooks back when Willow and Avo were mods. Now that it's on even footing you want to have a sook and cry.
You can have alternate viewpoints. The issue with the Brooks fanboys is that they can't defend that viewpoint without appeals to authority which means your argument is piss weak and devoid of any substance and is largely based on nostalgia or, with some posters, nepotism.
Please dont preach to me Bryce....you can be honest and still have an opinion without changing a login name....so was I supposed to know who he is,,,he came on as a new member and started deepthroating us about how good Brooks is and how poor Hastings is...I beg to differ and will stick to it...
Credit to Hastings.
Outstanding return/comeback season(albeit interrupted by suspensions and injury) and showed a lot more positive than negative.
He deserves better what this club is alleged or rumoured to be doing to him.

Hastings is regularly all over social media and I am sure he has come out a few times straightening out inaccurate reports or just making comments about stories in the media relating to him and the club. I believe his silence could be quite telling that the swap is a good chance of going down.

Just to get back on track, like others on the forum. I found Hastings a breath of fresh air compared to Brooks.
But that doesn't mean that i think he is the messiah for us.
I think we will benefit more from gaining Klemmer than losing Brooks or Hastings.
Heck if the knights want both of them they can have them.
Hopefully Douehi pulls his head in and proves he is worth $850 , at the moment he is not even proven to be worth of half of that.
And whilst i am on a rant, i am not a fan of Moses. To me he is still a flat track bully and haven't seen him turn a game around under his guidance. I might be wrong but i cant remember a game he has done that.
Lets offer the same money to English half back in my view he is a better option.

If George Williams is prepared to come back to the NRL (I know he played for Raiders and believe he left due to home sickness) I would sign him up on big dollars. He is a class half back.
Stephen Crighton has x-factor written all over him and he is a decent Goal Kicker and Drop Kicker. He could play full back in my opinion. I would try and sign him as well.
If we get Williams then to let Knights take Brooks, AD and Hastings for Klemmer. He is a quality prop and one we need.
