I would take a couple maybe 3 Bailey , Jake and BlakeUnfortunately L most of those names won’t really excite any of us( well certainly me for one). Which I guess is the reason they’re off contract.

Hardaway?I once met a young fella called Anthony….he spelt it Anfernee.
I played with his old man, who was a lunatic, still is. His kid's pretty good though.Tigers sign young Bulldogs halfback
Iverson will join the club effective immediately.
The Wests Tigers have made a new signing, bringing in talented halfback Iverson Matai from the Canterbury Bulldogs.
A member of the Bulldogs Academy, Matai was granted an NRL Development contract with the Dogs whilst playing in their SG Ball side.
A promising halfback, Matai was awarded the Sydney East Blue in 2021 for excellence, leadership and values in the sport of rugby league during his last year at Endeavour Sports High Score.
The award is considered the highest individual sporting honour in the Sydney East region.
A cool head with the ball in his hands, Matai has shown his poised kicking game and great passing ability throughout the SG Ball competition.
Although they have been no official word on him joining the Tigers, he has been named on the interchange for the Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg team this weekend.
Competing against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Mascot Oval on Saturday, Tigers fans will get their first look at what may be the club's future halfback.
How can you say Johnson is Worse then Brooks.Johnson is worse than Brooks.
Shocking if true.
He must be signed up for top 30 in 2024. Surely he wouldn't give up a top 30 spot at the Dogs and come here to play Flegg/NSW Cup?Tigers sign young Bulldogs halfback

Dogs seem to have an abundance of quality young halves...from Cup down to Harold Matts. Bailey Hayward, Karl Oloapu, Bailey Biondi Odo (although currently injured), Joseph O'Neill, Iverson Matai and Mitchell Woods. All, some or none might end up making it consistently in the NRL.I’ve only seen Woods play in person once.
He’s definitely really highly touted and was best on ground in the Harold Matts GF.
Dogs also have another talented young half (Joseph O’Neill) who’s one of their Development Players.
I think they’ve probably prioritised those two over Matai, although as far as I’m aware, Matai was scheduled to join the Dogs’ Top 30 in 2024 so they must have rated him too.
TW I asked the same question yesterday and was told “ don’t think so”. That seems to be as much as is known, unless someone has further info.Any relation to steve matai ?
Ronnie Palmer was this week's guest on "Behind the roar".
He seems pretty content for a bloke Buzz the drunk reckons is digruntled.
Haven’t seen the show but my take would be, think he’s a true old school Tiger, always has been, and would be more disappointed than disgruntled.Ronnie Palmer was this week's guest on "Behind the roar".

Isn't Conti only one year older than Large? All this talk that Large is a long way off yet also that Conti is a chance for first grade training this year. Wouldnt surprise me if like Benji, Large debuts at 18 under him. Which may potentially be before Conti.Onitoni will play wherever he wants, most likely at 6 outside Conti. although he is a long way away from first grade and there is a lot in his budding career still to play out, I truly believe he is special.
He doesn't seem disappointed at all. He seems more excited to be working with the young blokes.Haven’t seen the show but my take would be, think he’s a true old school Tiger, always has been, and would be more disappointed than disgruntled.
The real team men understand and take it on the chin.
Mainly just stories of his time in football.Did he say anything of note?
What’s that?Hardaway?
Mitchell Woods and Alex Conti are in the same year at St Pats Strathfield and been playing First XV rugby together since year 9. Have seen them play a few times and very talented. Both made the Australian U16 rugby team last year, and Woods also the Australian U16 AFL team (and in Swans Academy)I’ve only seen Woods play in person once.

Youve answered your own question. Career wise Johnson kills Brooks. How can you say Johnson is Worse then Brooks.
Cronulla got into the top 8 with Johnson.
Johnson has representated New Zealand.
Now, maybe. Yet were talking about a player who has played a stack of games.
Career wise, overall. Johnson is far greater then Brooks and will enjoy his highlight reel. Johnson could teach the team a thing or two and build juniors. Juniors are learning nothing from Brooks. ...
Ofcourse Marshall is meant to teach the team a thing or two.
Right now Johnson is playing better than BrooksYouve answered your own question. Career wise Johnson kills Brooks.
Right now though…
Agreed….But I would rather have Brooks. But both together would be better? Maybe….Youve answered your own question. Career wise Johnson kills Brooks.
