waiting for latu fainu ....You just keep throwing up these names to appease your assertion Brooks was staying, why don't you just wait and see what happens, Brooks had 11 years to get us to the 8, it was past time to try something different.
Walker would be an ideal get
Lomax is class player but he has no desire to come to the NRL. He will see out his career with St Helens.Lomax from the UK might fit the bill for the 7
And Moses…All Ben Hunt needs to do is kick a few balls dead, few out on the full, miss a tackle here and there and they'll be keen to move him on ASAP. Just do what Luciano Leilua did.
He’s primed to take over from dcewaiting for latu fainu ....
remember Brooks knocked the clubs 3 year deal back not the other way around... Isaac has struck gold for him more cash and another year on the contract, ridiculous signing by Manly 4 years
Just like what happened at the Broncos when Seibold was in charge. Terrible coach.Brooks signs 3 year 2million dollar deal with Manly. Schuster must be moving to lock now. Looking at it we are bringing a few of Tartaks players, while Manly are loading up from Moses stable.
Would be great 👍SMH reporting Talau and Fainu early swap deal is still on the table.
Negotiations in place now.
The Owen Craigie of Manly. All the skill in world but not the heart.Schuster has the skill set and body shape for the perfect 13. Unfortunately he has the heart for Ron Massey Cup. Once he runs the ball with purpose regularly and puts his body on the line he will be a freak in the middle. But I reckon he never will.
Channel 10 reported the signing as a cost cut signing, so we never offered unders at allI thought it was 2.8m for the 4 years so 700k each season.
Would rather Cogger or Lam to be honest. Cust is okay but Super League is his level. He would be playing NSW Cup than NRL if he came back. His younger than Cogger
George Williams would be a far superior signing.Would rather Cogger or Lam to be honest. Cust is okay but Super League is his level. He would be playing NSW Cup than NRL if he came back.
Lee and Justin will come out tomorrow and let everyone know that we have once again won this transaction because we saved money from a future seasons salary cap.Channel 10 reported the signing as a cost cut signing, so we never offered unders at all
I don't know a lot about him red, there's no real media coverage NBN news will have a wrap up of the weekend games tonight that's usually all you see, I go to the occasional Wingham tigers games haven't been to any taree games, as they are a pretty crap teamWhat age group is he playing
Do you see a rep player in him
Does he beat the first man on kick returns
Safe under the high ball
Does he make mistakes for trying too hard
Does he take the right options in a numbers situation
Sorry for the questions I’m just curious cause he’s obviously rated by the club and enjoys reading about the youngsters

He's worth what the market is prepared to pay. Manly were prepared to pay and give him allegedly a 4 year deal. Good luck to him and for WTs if this is true I respect the club's decision not to counter bid. But to suggest he is a poor first grader is nonsense.Brooks is an ok player. Poor first grader / borderline reserve grader as an organising half, can play well at 5/8th. He's not going to be some revelation at Manly, not a chance.
He'll do better than here I'm sure, but he's not going to suddenly become some great ball player or put on a bunch of tries with his short kicking game. His running game can be quite good, but he does still make some very questionable decisions when it comes to his choice of time to take on the line and the way he does it. Obviously having a 7 in DCE will help a lot in that regard, but the point is that a lot of his flaws are inherent to him and not products of the system he's in or the team around him.
Giving him 4 years as a guy who greatly relies on his speed, and that has already seen some loss of pace already, is definitely a risk. Brooks is much more likely to regress during this deal than improve as a player throughout it. On top of that, does this 4 year deal match-up with DCE's timeline? DCE is 34 now ... will he still be playing at a high level at 38? Do Manly have a contingency plan if DCE calls it a day in 2 years? What if Brooks needs to play 7 in 2025 or 2026 ... big problems in st
Withers was much better player and very under rated mate. Biggest hitter in the game for his size - loved how he played.Cust reminds me a little of one of my favourite players Lincoln Withers. Not huge skill but tough and plays direct. Not what we need, but good type to have in the squad.
It’s definitely humorous if you are still saying Luke Brooks is a dud. This is definitely an attempt at some form of humour lol. Brooks the superstar , finally coming out of his shell (ten years later )
