That was reported 3 days ago….good luck to them…Bad news fellow fans , my source is now close to saying the manly boys are signed sealed and delivered to the dolphins,
Really. I cant sleep now. The world is coming to an end. 🤣That was reported 3 days ago….good luck to them…
So people are saying but i have not seen a report and see no reason why he would go there with Moses and Brown signed to long term contracts.Signed with Eels
Hawkins did not impress me when playing on weekend if i was to be honest....this was he chance to shine and like other times he has had the chance, there was a massive lack of intent.Interesting view. If that's the case that concerns me too. I think we need an on the ball 7 too. Api and the 7 controlling the middle, condensing it before shifting to Bula and hopefully a dangerous 6 playing both sides.
I know it is underwhelming on paper, but a Hawkins 7 and Taaffe 6 suit that style. Hawkins' strength is playing on the ball and controlling things with his kicking. He also condenses the defence very well like Adam Reynolds does. Taaffe and Bula hit the edges.
Simple, plain, but effective role playing by spine players.
It makes you wonder why they let go of the 'next big thing' in Latu to sign Brooks. There would be a difference of about 3 to 4 hundred grand also. I smell a rat.I wonder why Manly let these 2 young guys got to market , if they are as good as people say why let them go at all. , I think we need to go after a too 1/2 , plus Taafe , Trindal , Lomax
The article said that Storm already did it with their CEO’s betting agency to keep stars last year ( Munster?)If clubs can circumvent the salary cap by offering equity in the chief sponsor's businesses then the salary cap is not worth a piece of sh*t. The NRL is such a horrendous administration that they'll probably allow it.
How it's allowed is ridiculousThe article said that Storm already did it with their CEO’s betting agency to keep stars last year ( Munster?)
Don't want him anywhere near this club.So now Jayden Sullivan from the Dragons reportedly joining the dogs next year while still contracted. Meanwhile in losertown...... crickets.
Banking on potential is always a massive risk ,unfortunately we don’t have an option.
I thought about that, you’d think there would be a gun Fly Half not getting a crack for the All Blacks .This is where we are at. The only other way forward is via getting some stars from England or rugby union but we probably can't afford quality union players.
Seems Marshall is keen on him if you believe the SMH. I note one of his motivations is to buy his mum a home. He sounds like a very family orientated young man which is a great quality. I guess the question is will it be Redcliffe or somewhere in Sydney?Speculation at best...
I've seen more young 'NRL Quality' showing just as much as he does go on to nothing
- Far from NRL Quality.
Fainu is 4 years away from proving anything remotely close to being NRL Quality.
I am surprised benji hasn’t spoken to him yetWould love to see Blake Taafe to the Tigers, can play a couple of positions & is only young.
