Its a funny beer Reschs on tap - you get a good one its like liquid gold but a bad one will turn you off beer for life. I'm a member of Reschs Appreciation Society and fortunately both watering holes in my town serve a really good Reschs. With my membership i get a schooner for $5 at the bowlo and $5.50 at the tavern.

Back in the day, I worked at the Rose Bay RSL. I was rostered to work in the top bar for a function. It had a temprite beer system and being 3 levels above the cellar meant it was a huge draw to get to the right beer flow. The Cellarman told me to draw the heads off into buckets - Resch's & Tooheys into the same buckets! Then they would be taken down to the cellar and poured into the Tooth's Old kegs!

At the Courthouse Hotel in Newtown we used to clean the lines every Sunday night with Bracton. The Customers always complained on Monday that something was wrong with their beers. That's cos the lines were now clean.

To keep this post at a footy level The brewery driver who delivered the Reschs kegs was Rocket Rod Reddy and the man who won our inaugural arm wrestling contest was Pat Jarvis (from the local Newtown police station via St George) He was a beast. Oh, how I'd love to have those 2 in our squad today!

mark my words... sullivan is going to be another shite signing... Flanno has shifted him onto us... because he knows how to rebuild a roster...

my father turned 80 this year... he loves saying "he who lives in hope, dies in hope"...

Sullivan is another "hope" signing... another guy who has a poor reputation at another club -- but that "we will get the best out of him... because he needs a change, needs a go, we have the best coaches who are similar to him etc etc"...

The guy has a bad attitude to training, a string of hamstring issues, and was unwanted, has played a handful of games and is unproven - yet we have taken him for 3 years? lol. to be our what 6, 7? start as 6 and then move to 7 when Sezer leaves so Fainu can play 6? Can be our #14 if he doesnt work at 6 or 7? So basically like another Douehi or Mbye -- they worked out well. lol.

My cousin is a major sponsor of the dragons -- speaks to the coaches -- goes into the dressing before and after games -- and said everyone is glad to see him leave... Flanno was just bluffing they wouldnt chip in... and now we are getting him lol

It's putting so much confidence in me that we are heading upwards.

It’s a trend not a spike mate.
Walters was a little bit flash but he hasn’t achieved anything as a coach as yet !

Old Greg seems to be Bula's harshest critic on here but I'm not sure he's watching the same game.

I might come off more negative regarding Bula then intended. I think he has been a revelation and behind only Api and Klem as our best this year.

I just also believe he has a whole lot to work on, as you would expect for a kid in his first year who spent little time at fullback as a junior. Nothing that cannot be overcome with good coaching and hard work.
