I understand people’s concerns that they believe Wests Tigers have now collected two consecutive wooden spoons and believe it has a lot to do with bad decisions made at board level.
The question I have is what difference would it realistically make to our on field results over the next 2-3 years regardless of whether or not the current board stays or goes ?
Obviously like any Wests Tigers supporter if it was a high chance a new board could come in and magically make the club springboard into the top 8, then it would be a no brainer to bring a new board in ASAP.
If we are being realistic the on field results over the next 2-3 seasons will not change regardless of who the board consists of.
It’s hard to imagine we improve much next season, that would not change with a new board or Bellamy or Bennett coaching, but there is reason to be optimistic results will start to improve dramatically in 2025-2026 and again that will be regardless of who is on the board and who is coaching.
