As we know buzz has strong influence on who WT hire.

FWIW, buzz doesn't rate O'Neil at all and is a big fan of chekka.

They also noted chekka has a coaching bug and not sure if the GM role would satisfy that

What are people's thoughts on these appointments


- chekka coaching director get on ground level with all coaching staff

- Simon Cook CEO wests Leagues and WT

- pascoe CCO wests Leagues Club and tigers?

Earlier Pooper & Caryannis (who had lunch with Lee yesterday) from the DT alluded to media, players, ex players, coaches, former coaches, members, fans being on the list of interviews to build wide-ranging stakeholder viewpoints. I wonder if any of the WT Podcast guys have been invited. @helmesy @cochise ??

If you change Lee, then effectively you are changing future plans again, in that any new chairman may want to change Lee's plan.

All the people arguing Lee can't stick to a plan asking the board to sack lee is asking the exact same thing that are unhappy with the board about.

I think it's right to back Lee, Fulton, benji fully for the next 3 years. There can be no more jumping and must follow the course they are on.

Since when does Lee have a plan?

He doesn't, and shouldn't be involved in any plans regarding our football department. He knows nothing about footy, he's our sponsor, if he wants to advise on advertising or other business related areas then perhaps.

The board has no plan other than to hire Benji and let him do what he wants. That's it....

Our Benji will be speaking at The Wests Tigers Grand Final Luncheon - his plan as a 1st Grade Coach just might get a mention. 😉

I wrote previously, this is a significant period for the club. We need the new GM to be across our juniors, our junior districts, the roster, to have good relations with the rugby league community and so forth. There is no time for someone to be eased into the appointment. The appointee must be up to it from day one. An internal appointment such as Betsey would have corporate knowledge valuable in the position.

Just for the people throwing names and allegations around remember:

The daughter of NRL legend Mark Geyer has been awarded more than $100,000 in damages after she was wrongly implicated in the Tyrone May sex scandal.

Montanna Geyer sued the administrator of the NRL Memes Facebook page, Fouada Ghosn, for defamation over two 2019 posts which falsely claimed she was the woman in a sex tape with May.
