Heard a rumour we have signed Jayden Nikorima for next year and beyond, it came from a lad who used to play schoolboys with him from one of their mutuals, not sure on the deal if it’s true, I’d say train and trial.

I'd say the club is just waiting for the NRL GF to pass before announcing some more extensions, releases & recruits 😉

Can only hope I guess. I hope Staines is one of the extensions.

If Douhie happens to get fit and up to challenging for a spot, you evaluate as to the needs of the team. Personally wouldn't play him unless there was nobody else to fill that spot, and his leaving a hole while getting a mouthguard cemented my thoughts on playing him at all.

It sounds to me like the Tigers are looking to get better value for money out of some of our players. Twal and Staines are both on good dollars.

Yea, but they are both starters, both First graders.

Maybe Twal would be a bench player in some teams. He has done pretty well with us, although this years form has been far better then past years.

Staines in my view is a center we should lock up. Ofcourse if we instead go for Kurt Mann, but to me he is someone we want and we haven't had quality options in the Centers.

It's great that both of these 2 are making plenty of rep sides, however let's hope they stick with us in league when they have to decide one or the other. I dont see union laying down without a fight!

I can't wait for season 2024 to start. The off season is so depressing with WT habit of slow signings and send off's. I know negotiations have to take place but other teams are so much quicker off the mark. That blot / error is solely on our admin.
