See how they react to a third straight spoon.Whatever else we might think of the club's prospects it's encouraging that the players we actually want to keep seem to be bought in and aren't trying to leave. Koroisau, Bula and now Utoikamanu - you could make a case that they are literally the only three players on our 2023 roster that other clubs would actually covet.
Which is correct, okay some interest around Twal but I think that's as a second tier player.Whatever else we might think of the club's prospects it's encouraging that the players we actually want to keep seem to be bought in and aren't trying to leave. I agree with this. The first thing this club needs to come close to replicating what the broncos have done is have stability. No bullshit five year plans that last a year. Pick a direction and stick to it, and shut up in the media.Broncos have developed players with elite attributes, both physical & skill, and have taken those attributes (speed, strength, power, cardio, ball skills) to new levels. Walsh, Cobbo, Staggs, Fansworth, Mam, Haas, Riki, Flegler & Carrigan provide an amazing combination of attributes. With shrewd recruitment in Reynolds & Capewell, they have rocketed up the ladder the past 4 seasons.
We are not going to replicate that by purely recruitment. We need to develop the likes of Laulilii brothers, Faagutu, Galvin, Mason, Large brothers, Makasini, Willett and take the likes of Stef, Pole, Matamua, Fainu brothers, Blore, T'oa & Bula to whole new levels to get us anywhere near the top 4.
Morris is a good man to have on board to help Benji & Api with this.
Just love your posativetySee how they react to a third straight spoon.
Bookmakers have us second last and that’s optimistic. Try realism for once.Just love your posativety
Let's see how the roster shapes up first huh.Bookmakers have us second last and that’s optimistic. Try realism for once.
It’s there on paper, 2024 is another bust year. Refer to my previous predictions if you need to.Let's see how the roster shapes up first huh.
Geez.
Don't change Ur usernameIt’s there on paper, 2024 is another bust year. Refer to my previous predictions if you need to.
You don’t think the club deserves criticism? It’s at an all time low. The criticism comes from me wanting to watch my team win.Don't change Ur username
I reckon Benji is plotting an outside back off contract next year who is flying under the media’s radar due to injury, Taylan May.
Could depend on what Penrith’s salary cap position is for ‘25 given Turuva off contract & young gun McLean coming through & what Luai does.
Just my thoughts.

the surprise is:
Isaiah Papali'i
and John Bateman.
These two should be gun and desirable players. With both their form is way lower then past performance. Bateman we know it was almost a mid season transfer so lets see what a good preseason does.
Balmain boys whine about bulas contract was one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve ever seen on this forum,,, and that is saying something… like, all that drama is not really our problem to whine about , they get paid well,, deal with it,,, and Bula is a rising star we needed to keep , desperately! So what do you want to pay Bula?
Let’s low ball him so he goes to the Roosters. Awesome idea
AJ and Nofo are the ones that have to go.Our biggest problem in the short term is creating available roster spots to actually have the ability to recruit. Next year will be a hard slog with our current roster. We need to move on at least three players and that would appear unlikely. In saying the above Iam confident we will not get the spoon and climb a couple of positions based on the fact we will have a new 6 and 7
Interesting that nearly all fans agree it is AJ and Nofoaluma should be offloaded to allow us to recruit and strengthen our 2024 squad.AJ and Nofo are the ones that have to go.
AJ only has 24 on his deal, other guy has 24 and 25 sadly.
Both offer minimal to our squad other than talking up the numbers.
Swap Nofa & Addo-Carr???AJ and Nofo are the ones that have to go.

I wouldn't put Bateman in that list. Worst bit of signing business we've done since Josh Reynolds and it was easily callable from the off. Small back rowers rarely age well and his form in the UK was ok at best, yet we gave him four years when there didn't seem to be any other obvious NRL interest. He didn't live up to his contract value in year one so I shudder to think what 2026 is going to be like. Dead money on the cap in all likelihood.Which is correct, okay some interest around Twal but I think that's as a second tier player.

Hope we sign nofo for another 3 years. It will be fantastic for popcorn factor! Imagine
