Do you really need to think about it? It’s obviously Galvin.Bula had a contract upgrade so he’s now on $700k so what’s your point? If I was any calmer, I’d be asleep 😂
My point is that the club will eventually need to decide which of the 5 halves plus emerging they need to hang onto. While they are considering the question other clubs are watching on and placing a value on our halves.
Let me ask you this? Which of our halves deserve an upgrade?
Now think about that.
What do you mean you don’t believe he is on a 4 year deal? 😂 why would the west tigers lie about how long they signed him for?Absolutely absurd.
On all accounts.
We have 4 halves signed for 2025, how is that too much?
Galvin is more likely to sign a 5 year deal on good coin, upgrading him immediately.
Sullivan most likely to leave, and no i don't believe he's on a 4 year deal, nor is it 500k a season.
Then that’s the target. Geeze, am I talking in a foreign language? 😂Do you really need to think about it? It’s obviously Galvin.
You can shop him all you like but if he doesn't want to go he won't and the contract stands.Hull KR apparently really interesting in Haze Perham...
He's a low tier player.
Jayden Sullivan level.
We need to shop him to a wealthy superleague club, like Salford.

Haha, is that Koukashs club?Salford.... Wealthy?
Since when?
Great signing for the Dolphins.Gun backrower Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has reportedly signed with the Dolphins.
Not sure where that leaves Connelly Lemuelu in their backrow pecking order but worth investigating to add depth to our backrow stocks (and can play centre as well).
Haha, is that Koukashs club?
Thought they had some money
True!God no.... They sell all their players.
Always down the bottom.
He sold out a few years ago and went broke himself a year or 2 back.
All the money is Wigan, Giants, Warrington, Saints - Then Leeds maybe behind them...
Usually the top 4 of SL.
The rest are scrappers fighting away at the bottom of the Ladder....
I understand we did investigate but he wasn't interested, maybe wanted to stay closer to home.Great signing for the Dolphins.
Type of player we should've been targeting.
True!
I don't follow it closely.
Happy to give Sullivan to any of them though.
Well,
Is it Sexton they're rumoured to be chasing?
They've just moved Tex Hoy and Nu Brown from the halves, So that's where they're at...
(They'd probably silly enough to take him)
He won't go though...
Happy to play cup, u reckon ?
Says a lot about him, if that's the case. Why not....
Has he ever come across to you as super driven?
Getting well paid for the next 4 years, Don't have to move to a cold country.
win / win.
Some very good points you raise.I’m struggling to judge Bula at the moment.
I see what you’re saying but I honestly think if you put Edwards, Drinkwater or Kennedy at the back they would struggle as well. Brimson and Walsh might be different due to instant speed hit but also wouldn’t be as effective as they are at current clubs.
He can’t do it on his own and I’m finding our attacking structures to be flat again without deception most times and mechanical left/right/left shifts which aren’t beneficial to a fullback in today’s game. He is getting zero space but when he does we have seen whilst limited things happen.
I mentioned few games back we look like Bud and Sezer are playing counting numbers & getting more convinced by that based on our shifting style & when Galvin gets the ball. It’s reactive shifting. Galvin is the only one that tries something and Api in the danger zone despite numbers.
If you look at all the other fullbacks they are often outside the half/58th or beside the ruck on the 2nd or 3rd rapid play the ball - they common key is they have some space on front foot either way which doesn’t happen for Bula. But Bula is positioning himself better in attack this year compared to last and on both sides which does show progress.
His effort areas are fine the issue is his team or he isn’t positioning well enough to use his skills. I do have doubt about his speed impact off the mark and ball playing but when he gets a sniff he does break free it’s just tough to judge.
He has shown especially off Galvin their is a combination to build off but then on the other side it’s ghost town (put that down to Sezer, lack of 13 & poor center option.) Sezer we knew wasn’t going to be a running threat but his kicking game / buy time was why he was here - with Luai who is attack focused will be very interesting to see how things evolve.
His try scoring % of teams tries for fullbacks put him top 3 fullbacks in the comp, his try involvements are bottom 3 but our overall attack is last which is unfair to target this on Bula primarily.
Who was your man of the match in round 3 against the Sharks? I've also seen in Bula in a lot of peoples 3,2,1 after the games are you saying that the general consensus of Bula is wrong & only yours is right? Some very good points you raise.
I certainly have not disregarded the fact he could be the real deal, but would like to see him have a man of the match performance and win us the game sometime soon, hopefully Saturday.
