We can only scrimp on new signings if we can get better value out of our kids.I'm being as optimistic as possible here. The minimum we need is 2 better middles and a centre or winger if we hope to see Luai anywhere near his best here. In a perfect world we get 6 new players at least, just about any position except hooker or half, but minimum 3 required
If onlyI know Parra squashed the claims....
But, Luai is very close friends with Jnr Paulo.
Is he the old head we need for our pack?
Set the standard....
Where there is smoke there is fire.
He’s got to be a candidate although he has his off days.I know Parra squashed the claims....

I’d say they’ll keep one only of Paulo and RCG. RCG seems in better shape so there is probably a decent chance they allow Paulo to move on.I know Parra squashed the claims....

Both past their prime for sure.Paulo looks done to me, RCG too..
He's playing a simpler role in a better team. Also, sometimes players improve - they respond to different coaching, or a different style of play, or they realise they're running out of chances and focus. It happens. So will Luai be the same when he gets here ?
What do you make of Talau being so much better this season ? He couldn’t even make the freaking first grade side of a wooden spoon side when he was here …
Galvin won't be here for to much longer - he's already shown his colours and will go at the first opportunity his manager can arrange so we may need Sullivan. Yeah, Yeah Yeah they say he will see out his contract but they didn't hold Moses and Leluia etc so he'll go too.I’m a big fan of both Galvin and Latu Fainu, but they have yet to dominate and show the same attacking x-factor as what Sullivan has at this stage.
A 500k contract was obviously too much for Sullivan on what he’s proven in his NRL career so far, but that’s not his fault and paying Latu Fainu 500k per season was way too much for what he’s proven so far also.
YesSo which players are the main offenders.
Does this mean our players are dumb as well as not willing to run or tackle hard ?
I'd say Bula is largely responsible. As needaname said the fullback is supposed to direct the returning defenders into position. I haven't been to a game for a while to judge if Bula is doing this. But a relative rookie, who was criticised by the (previous) coach for having no voice and didn't play fullback through the grades, id be shocked if he is competent at setting the defensive line.So which players are the main offenders.

Smith was a first grader before Bellamey arrived. Smith was an Origin player in Bellamy's first year. The first player Bellamy signed at the Storm was Nathan Friend because he thought Storm needed a hooker. I think mutually beneficial is the right call but I'd say Smith made Bellamy more so than the other way round if had to take a side.Bellamy made smith well before that…
The culture there is all Bellamy.
He just got 3 real good students all at the same time.

What? Bellamy has consistently produced high quality halves, hookers and fullbacks during his tenure at the Storm.Smith was a first grader before Bellamey arrived. Let's put it this way. If I had a choice between signing Bellamy as coach or Smith as hooker, I'd take Bellamy all day.
Made us look stupid when he got on the field against us about 14 months ago and almost single-handedly won the game for St.George.All I am asking is what has he done in NRL to get everyone so excited ?
I guess so, he’s been a great coach results wiseA million stories around about Bellamy turning Cronk into the best half in the game....
But Smith turned Bellamy into a coach?
I'm not buying either....
What Bellamy has built there will remain in the Walls long after he's gone.
