Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Pretty sure he did it in state of origin this year.
64th minute isn't clutch. Although it was 4-2 so fair enough. Nathan consistently delivers in the last 10 minutes and golden point. So far we've seen luai throw a game in the final 10 minutes vs canberra. Didn't step up vs storm either when cleary went off

It doesn’t matter what minute it is. It’s about stepping up on the big stage when your team needs it. Benji’s grand final flick pass wasn’t in the last 10 minutes but it changed the game to our favour.

Yeah I know. But the word 'clutch' means right at the end. 16 minutes left is not right at the end. The pressure in final moments, particularly when behind is what makes a great player

You want to fix your calculator,
Can't see how those figure's add up to an average 60 minutes per game, more like 36.4.
Or I've misunderstood you and the scale you have shown.
I was sceptical regarding X and his comment about Stef playing 60mins. So I googled the stats and as your calculation has confirmed Stef only averaged 36.4mins. So we only need Royce to get through 40mins a game to replace stef.

Quote from Richo I believe

Start doing what the fans want you to and it won’t be long before you’re sitting with them.
Fair enough, I get the sentiment though imo it's been obvious this year that Pole should have been our priority, maybe in time and under Bellamy Stephano will prove me wrong.

Ricky knew all about Adam Elliot’s close family and the issues they had there.

I stand by the Ricky, he looks and sounds like a feral pig who is hungover, but underneath, he’s a total genius.

He wouldn’t have lost spoon bowl that’s for sure.
A total genius probably would not be in the position where his team was playing off in a spoon bowl. 🤣

That is not a richo quote it's from Jack Gibson many decades ago
It may have been appropriate in Jack Gibson’s day, but does it really apply today?
Being a fan is a prerequisite to getting on our 3 boards. It may even be a mandatory if you want to conduct an independent review of WT. 😂

Daily Telegraph

Departing Eels Reagan Campbell-Gillard is set to sign with a Sydney-based club despite revelations of an explosive showdown with Dragons coach Shane Flanagan.

A furious Flanagan hung up the phone on Campbell-Gillard’s management on Monday after the coach was informed ‘RCG’ had ruled out a rumoured move to the Dragons.

Flanagan was confident Campbell-Gillard was all but a done deal. So when he was advised the prop had a change of heart, the premiership coach saw red and snapped, hanging up on his agent.

Goodbye Dragons. The search for a new club continues.

Brisbane emerged as the next shock destination for Campbell-Gillard in the wake of the Red V bust-up, but it’s understood the 31-year-old will not be wearing Broncos colours in 2025.

The Broncos have one spot available on their roster but Brisbane have salary-cap pressures and cannot afford Campbell-Gillard, who was on $775,000 this season.

The former NSW prop is eyeing a three-year deal. It is understood Campbell-Gillard will remain in Sydney next year, although it won’t be with Wayne Bennett’s Rabbitohs, who, like the Broncos, have salary-cap constraints.
