Well here’s another left field signing , and I know lots will say NO , NO , but he is someone who we could use , he is older and wiser .
Matt LODGE , he hits the line hard , his defence is OK , has good lateral movement , would be good at $350 for 2 years , he played really well yesterday, he’s a mongrel type player , and that’s what we need

I've actually been liking the way he's been playing all year and thought the same.

I still can't grasp playing latu fainu at 13.
He's 90kg
Gallen in his prime was close to 105kg.
That's 15kg of muscle required to put on to be at the same body type.

He’s also 18 or 19 and has thrown one good pass in first grade. His best bet is to spend 6 months dominating second grade and learning his trade.

Missing out on Horsbra sucks, but we really need to go after NAS. He’s the type of forward you pay for especially for our team:

1. He brings the intimidation factor. Players fear him, he’s the biggest bloke in the NRL.

2. He can play big mins and maintain consistent work output. He is a leader of men

3. Versatile can play prop, lock or backrow! Great offloading ability and a genuine try scorer

Having JAC on a low value contract for 2 years would be huge for us. He is still super quick.

Still...once you get past our mediocre starting pack, forward depth becomes our biggest issue right at this moment.
