Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I do not think that the symbolic"One club, one name, one jersey." would do anything, as it is not the problem. Otherwise, we would be competing with the St G-Ill year after year!
I would have thought a seamless integration from juniors to NRL would go a long way to strengthen unity, a stronger sense of belonging, and esprit de corps amongst the players and staff?
Interested to know what you think "the problem" is?

Definitely!

Guys like Kitoga and Blore saw the signings of Bateman and Papali'i as a road block to regular first grade. Blore managed to become a starter in Melbourne. Kitoga is stuck behind Kikau and Preston at Canterbury.

Two players the club should've invested more time in. But this is what happens when the decision-makers are constantly changing every 2-3 seasons. And Sheens really stuffed it during his tenure IMO.
Sheens certainly was a total disaster I'm sure he only came back for revenge

I don't know what games you have been watching this season. Tedesco is well in fr=ont of all the other fullbacks even if he has lost some pace. He's a Bently v BMW's.

It's comforting you don't know what games I've been watching this season.

You're entitled to your opinion.

I think Walsh and Ponga are better players and possibly even Papenhuyzen. That's my opinion.

Lake Cathie (Cat-eye not Cathy) for me.
Just north of Bonny’s, sometimes the lake is open sometimes not, depending on the weather conditions etc. We had a family Xmas lunch there when I was a teenager and I’ve never forgotten it. I love it there, I love the ocean/water. I’m on the mid north coast, so getting closer.

In the interest of thread title; We should get a good lock.
I lived in Lake Cathie a few years back. Great spot. Home of the big bowl. I'm in Forster now. Gotta love the mid north coast

This is where we need to balance out on who can move on to what we pay.

Either pay out to leave or pay towards their salary at a new club.

Skelton was apparently about $235K. Bird $400K, unsure if the Dragons paying anything, doubt it. Hunt who knows but I'm guessing about $400K as well.

Means we still have $1 mil plus in the cap & whatever we saved this year on Nofa, Simpkin, Kepaoa & Bateman.

Montoya $300K & Hetherington $450K is fair.

So let's hope we can get someone to take a player or two off our hands.

Money isn't the issue. Spots are!
