With you having been a fullback and having a name like TurnStyle, sounds to me like you weren't a very good tackler 😂.Omg. Look up the word opinion.
My opinion is nonsensical? Talk about a proverbial battle of wits with an unarmed opponent....
Seriously, have you been taking writing lessons from Kamala Harris? My opinion of your opinion of my opinion of fullbacks shows us all what can be... Unburdened.... By what has been.... M'kay?
If it will shut you up, here is my basis:
1. I used to play full back - fact
2. I loved playing that position and have an increased interest in watching fullbacks more than other positions in the nrl - fact
3. I like watching Walsh and Ponga play more than I do Tedesco - fact
4. I think Walsh and Ponga are better players in 2024 than Tedesco - opinion.
I would say I'm sorry you don't agree with me, but I'd be lying.
Deal with it. Don't deal with it. I don't care.

but had an interesting chat with someone linked to the club over the weekend
might already be common knowledge so apologies
- for batemen to play in the super league, the tigers had to terminate his existing contract another 2 years worth 800 and 850
- the club releases simpkin and kepoa from existing deals contributing nothing
- richo used this money as a payout to bateman to the amount of $450k
- batemen has signed a new year 2 year deal with the club worth $600k a season
- great business imo, helps with cap space but also helps us lure potential suitors with a reasonable contract
There was a story about Bullemor's strength in the gym over the weekend with records on the bench & leg press from memory.Would take em both.
Always rated Bullemore, big heart.
Bateman would have already re-signed, but the question is, is the club looking to use his reduced salary as a bargaining chip or do we want him to return? Does the player even want to return?the re signing is a formality, the better word to use is we restructured his contract to give us breathing room in the cap
You realise they don't even play the same position, right??We have signed Jack Bird... It would be nuts to sign To'o now.
That said, I would rather To'o.
The known combination with Luai
The strength and just running through people, allowing transition out of wing to Center or even forwards.
Yes he is not tall so unsure how he would go under the high ball. Moving him to center makes that a non-issue.
We got Jack Bird, who is alright... Roosters or Dogs will get To'o if he is looking.
Maybe if he'd stopped making deposits with Miss Hathaway.Shame I thought Milton could have been a good Tigers CEO.
Predicted when it happened it would be the only contract he sees out.Such a bad deal the original Bateman deal, 4 years and paying 800k and 850k for a player clearly in decline and not to rock up for preseason.
It shows the enormous task Richo has to make us competitive again.
Not to mention all the players getting top 30 deals before they are ready. Thanks for the info.

Not sure why people are bagging Richo, best signing ever!!
Rugba legLooks like you’re all over it to me.
So your avatar, you got Sayfart with a red arrow to old mate kicking back having a beer with a midget (Luke Brooks I presume), duct taped to a wall in the back ground? Have I got it all? There’s a lot going on in that avatar. I like it so far, what’s the meaning behind it?
He's going to find a second reverse? Can't predict the future bro, I genuinely feel he has
another gear and mentioned earlier how he can stoop
to a certain level and rise. Worst case scenario is
we save money, best case he comes back & honours us
I blame the fedoraYep it makes you wonder whether Sheens, Hagi & Pascoe were part of some conspiracy to ruin our club with many of their decisions or it's just pure incompetence.
Bore the brunt of undue criticism?? Seriously? He brought Sheens back to the club and oversaw these ridiculous contracts. Stefano's included.I agree wholeheartedly.
Pascoe wasn’t ideal, but I think he bore the brunt of a lot of undue criticism.
He was always bound by board and coaching decisions. He was a servant.
He’s got an alibi.
Classic. 🤣With you having been a fullback and having a name like TurnStyle, sounds to me like you weren't a very good tackler 😂.
Well, I did suggest Jack Hetherington & Corey Horsburgh...Our recruiters should follow the advice of Hedley Lamarr if people think we need toughening up.
"I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists."
Well played Mr TurnerClassic. 🤣
But yeh, that's the joke - it's a portmanteau of my surname and style instead of stile... 😊
It was actually Mongo. But he was awesome.I loved Pongo in Blazing Saddles..
Am I missing something, for us to let him go back England, we had to pay him $450 , and then give him a new deal , should it not be if I want to go then u have broken ur contract, if I am missing something please enlighten me 🤔😳no signing news

Two clubs I could see take him BB are Dragons & Broncos. Flanno managed by Isaac Moses would help there. They don't have much in backrow stocks aside from Su'a & Luciano or they could use him at lock.Bateman would have already re-signed, but the question is, is the club looking to use his reduced salary as a bargaining chip or do we want him to return? Does the player even want to return?
He was one of our worst players this season. Atrocious discipline and just horrible all around. Benji told him as much and he got pissed. Can that relationship be repaired? Are there any clubs here or overseas interested in him at 400-500k??
