Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Makes sense about Klemmer. He wasn't going to be in the top 17 barring injury, and probably gets a multi year deal at Dragons

Have to use his spot for an edge forward or a proper lock forward - just have no idea who's actually out there

Plenty of discussion early on about Klemmer, nothing new except that he was withdrawn from the trial in case of injury which would affect negotiations.

Use the $’s to extend and sign Galvin. A locked up spine of API, Romey, Galvin and Bula excites me. The bring the extra spot to bring in a solid second row option

I don’t think that’s gonna happen. Could have used the extra dollars after letting Bateman go. There’s more to the Galvin situation than money.

How funny if this is referring to Stef?

DISGRUNTLED STAR EYES RETURN

Which player switched clubs in 2024 and now realises he made a terrible mistake?

The player - one of the biggest-name signings from last season - isn't happy in his new surroundings and would love nothing better than to return to his old club for 2026.

The former club would take him back in a heartbeat … IF they could find room in the salary cap.

Time will tell.

Bateman maybe ?

Frank Molo seems to be a signing the Bulldogs would make. But with Cam Murray going down today, the Rabbits may move quickly to shore up their middle.

I dont think it will take long for the Molo/Klemmer situation to sort itself.

I think ur jumping the gun , KLEMMER is on 700.00 , so how much are we throwing in , with Molo on 500.00 the drag queens won’t be paying KLEMMERs contract , and we always come out behind
Maybe we only pay Molo $400k?
He may be having trouble getting a run elsewhere at this late stage of every other clubs roster?
All negotiable.

I think the depth at most positions looks grim…
it's streets ahead of what we've had previously. here's our first and second string sides sat next to one another.

1. Bula – Mason
2. Turuva – Staines
3. To'a – Faataape
4. Olam – Naden
5. Skelton – L. Laulili'i
6. Galvin – L. Fainu
7. Luai – Doueihi
8. May – K. Laulili'i
9. Koroisau – Hope
10. Pole – T. Johannssen*
11. Sa. Fainu – Porter
12. Seyfarth – Sukkar
13. Twal – Matamua

14. Da Silva – Falls*
15. Hunt – N. Johannssen*
16. Bird – Rahme*
17. Si. Fainu – Broederlow*

Remaining players: Lobb, Saukuru, Craig, Feledy, Makasini, Tumeth

I think we're probably short a gun backrower and another for depth, a right centre, and a solid, experienced middle forward. we're not far off.

I read on the Dragons forum that Souths were actually sniffing around Klemmer themselves. I'd say it's pretty short odds Molo ends up at Redfern.

Cmon Molo for Klemmer deal, let's go!
Dragons move on Klemmer, Molo granted permission to speak to …4 hours ago · Add articles to your saved list and come back to them any time. St George Illawarra have granted FrankMolo permission to negotiate with other clubs, with unsettled Wests Tigers

The problem with our depth is that they are good for cameo appearances only currently. That will change as they get older/more developed but until then, if they are required to string games together in NRL, theyll struggle.

Solid work @jrtiger I now reckon Tristan Hope is the #14 understudy after last week and being named this week.
