I was one of the first on here who said luai was coming to the club when he met Benji at his hunters hill home in late 2023 before the journos got hold of it. I'm one of the few who advocated for us to chase sitili tupouniua mid last year but got absolutely rinsed for even raising the opinion, have a look at how good he was for Bulldogs and his back end of 2024 for roosters. I'm not a product of the hivemind on this forum, nor am I a contrarian or conspiracist

Might be our way of getting behaviour clauses in his contract.

No the club should be creating a culture where players are committed. Moving them on isn't necessarily the wrong decision. It is the reason why they wanted to move on that is the problem. We fans don't know that reason as neither party will tell us (nor probably should they) but this leaves to the speculation.
Everything from past club admin, coaching (past and present) and individual players have been blamed.

no ,the afl players rolled over for a quick money grab via the new enterprise agreement and signed certain rights away,think at the time it was the massive foxtel deal (2nd faze).From memory it was a 1 of7% increase with a certain % of any new deal locked into wages(year 2007 ???)
