And how is Galvin going to get us to the finals? Grubbering the ball dead and giving away 7 tackle sets? Forcing unnecessary passes on tackle one and turning the ball over? Putting up lame bombs with barely any height? Overruling senior players, ballhogging and disrupting the flow of attack? Because that’s pretty much all he’s done throughout 6 rounds with the exception being the Dolphins game.

Not to mention the only accolade he has is a wooden spoon while playing his best football last season. The kids is good but he will not be the difference between making the finals or not.

Do you reckon Ivan and moreso Nathan would be impressed by Galvin’s attitude?
I think a large part of players such as Api and Luai being so unhappy with Galvin’s attitude is knowing they have played alongside Nathan Cleary who is arguably the best rugby league player in recent times and he never comes across as a player who is bigger or better than his team mates.

Wait til the noise dies down. Hold a meeting compulsory for any player under 25 and optional for any over. Make it your usual player public awareness/safety/media safety chat that they all have regularly (so it doesn't look player managers is the true topic) but add in a section about player managers. Remind them their manager works for them not the other way around. If you want to test your value at other clubs you are welcome to do so and it is their job to get you the best deal. If you are happy here and getting what you and your manager deems a fair contract then your manager can still try to negotiate more here, can still field offers from elsewhere but shouldn't be trying to push you in any one direction that isn't where you want to be.
 
Have seen a few posts on socials the past hour that he is an eel, just a matter of when. Beyond strange decision if true, they are a joke of a club since losing that grand final. Not sure what coaches he is looking forward to learning from there, a rookie coach going 1-5 doesn’t sound great to learn from…

Million dollar half for a half a million dollar winger. I honestly don't know if it's enough with how long a contract wests have to bargain with at the moment. Not saying I wouldn't do that swap. I'd take 56 yr old Garry from narabri who loves the jersey over Galvin

The best winger in the comp isn’t enough for an erratic 19 year old kid that will leave in 2027 for nothing anyway? That will do me 🤦‍♂️ some of you are carrying on like it’s Cleary up for trade bait

That's what really gets me about all these players that leave us because 'they want to win' or 'be better' - they're often going sideways to clubs that are hardly in a better position than us.

I can't seem him going anywhere but the Dogs, IF what he says is true.

Keep in mind it was reported that Lomax signed with the Eels for under 700k which I think is value for a big body outside back with freakish aerial ability and most importantly a gun goal kicker.
Even if he played on the wing with Skelton to the centres and Doueihi and Latu battling it out to be our starting 5/8.
Two big mobile bodies would make us a much more formidable lineup and add significant depth.

That would be awesome . I wouldn’t accept that trade from the eels . No way ! They’re not giving up anything . You give us something of value , and we will consider it . Penisini or Lomax and we get KPP from the knights . As that’s once again helping the eels get their player off their books .
