Keep in mind it was reported that Lomax signed with the Eels for under 700k which I think is value for a big body outside back with freakish aerial ability and most importantly a gun goal kicker.

Two big mobile bodies would make us a much more formidable lineup and add significant depth.

That would be awesome . I wouldn’t accept that trade from the eels . No way ! They’re not giving up anything . You give us something of value , and we will consider it . Penisini or Lomax and we get KPP from the knights . As that’s once again helping the eels get their player off their books .

It might be old school, but in my opinion you need to stand for something or you stand for nothing.

Ah yes, Galvin—the messiah. Clearly the only thing standing between us and a premiership. I mean, he was at the club last year when we came stone motherless last, but let’s ignore that minor detail. Forget the new recruits actually making a difference. Let’s pin our hopes on a bloke who won't even review our offer and has alienated himwelf from the playing group and coach. Makes total sense.

As much as I like him I don’t think we need another winger right now. A 2nd rower, lock or centre are what we should be aiming for.

I guess you could move Turuva to centre but it’s still risky. Good wingers don’t always make good centres.

We’d still need to sign forwards too but we have Maksini coming through in the centres. Skelton isnt on huge money and he’s hurt. To’o would add so much to us, he plays like another forward.

P.s won’t happen unfortunately.
 
We don’t necessarily have to swap Galvin for a single player. We have room in our top 30 to get two players back for him (or more, although unlikely). Perhaps we could get a couple of gun juniors knocking on the door of first grade? We are not going to win the GF this year but if we could get them into our system and they could play first grade next year that could be a way to continue building our squad. Just an option, not saying this is what we should do. The dragons have a couple of very good young players for example.

Send him to Flanno to get on the gear you reckon? Could use the muscle development.

Spoke to my mate from work he said he spoke with tallyn and his father today and said that Lachys decision to leave is upsetting but it won’t affect tallyns decisions for the future. He’s invested in the tigers and doesn’t want to be anywhere but the tigers. He feels the club is in a strong position and is confident they will bring success. Also apparently joked and said they can sling him some of lachys extra $$

Anybody know what's happened with Makasini not named anywhere I think.
