Yeah. Just watching the knghts game, KPP is either shit or playing like someone that doesnt want to be in his current team. Not seeing anything to be excited about atm but hell Ponga looks shit and most commentators cream in their pants over him constantly. Either way, we will find out soon.

Yes he is tall & relatively strong but isn’t a tackle buster, aerial threat or energiser bunny. He doesn’t seem that quick just lopes. I’m starting to agree.

His halves are not great, his team aren't familiar with his game and therefore don't make best use of his game. Also when he signed, Will Pryce and Dominic Young were with the Knights but both are gone.
His defence is very soft for a big man. Does not look all that interested and just seems to do the bare necessities. Not worth big money at all.

Also no mongrel or sting in his defence (Seyfarth at least has a bit of it regardless of his ability), KPP could possibly blend into a well drilled Storm system with gun players around him but I don't think Tigers would be a good fit for him.
As the second row has been a problematic position for quite some time I would prefer to be patient and pick up a gun signing.
Staggs is prepared to lower his contract demands to stay at the Broncos
Laybutt i though was going to be a marquee signing for PNG??

Yeah that's my thought as well. Pawsandclaws seems to be a fan and defend the potential signing with his observations the other day.
I don't disagree with him on all the points he made. But I just haven't seen anything to be excited about him landing here.
I agree.
I was initially keen on him potentially joining us, but his good games are few and far between.
Not sure what second rower we can sign, but I don’t think KPP is the answer.

Josiah Pahulu, prop from the Titans, Israel Leota, centre/wing and Jamal Shibasaki, backrower.
Interesting suggestions.
Pahulu was removed to the Dogs but maybe that deal has gone cold, they've been making moves elsewhere. Seems a good player.
Leota is a u19s origin player [Queensland] and has had some wraps but hasn't really had a chance in first grade.
Haven't seen much of Shibasaki.

He also went ok in a pretty uninspiring pack against us round 6. That’s often a clue. He didn’t stand out like Sullivan at the Dragons with a couple of tries, but was handy just the same.

My concerns are around Bula’s manager Moses and the possibility of him agitating. Both TDS and Api are coming off contract and could be on the market as of Nov this year. Latu is yet to show he is up for NRL week in and week out nor has he proven he is the guy we need, and we currently have no quality depth behind him. AD is no number 7.
I think these issues are key matters that require priority attention. Once we have our spine squared away for the next 3 years we can build our team and have a real shot. Obviously Richo needs to keep options open for our roster weaknesses as well.
All in all plenty of work still to do.
