Just don’t get him so aggressively drunk this time,Seems my source was on the money (and on the sauce). Galvin deal was done, KPP and May both announced. Which means we may not be done yet on the signing front. Interested to see if he's three from three. Catching up with him again soon so will squeeze him for more info then!
Must be true then…lol
Totally agree..I think AD can move into lock in 2-3 years . I think he needs to be an edge forward first . And that’s where I’d be saying to him to start moving his game towards . His improvements in defence , and his desire for work , as well as he can still do that ad-lib stuff / offer a 4th choice kicker, means he definitely has value .
He needs to work with a plyometrics trainer/ sprints coach to help him with his explosion off the mark and into and through contact . But that seems like he’s still having confidence issues / still coming to terms with how big and massive he is .
He’s an absolute unit , but especially in attack , seems to have forgotten it .
We need more out of the left edge centre in attack . At least 4-5 times on Sunday , and 3-4 times in most games , there’s been half chances presented to him/ 1 on 1 opportunities with his centre , and he hasn’t been able to do anything .
Yep , I like your thinking. You forgot the Burgii Bros and The Turbo Bros as well. We probably should try and get that young kid from Canterbury.... Galvin, to play with us cos we have his younger brother in our Pathways program. He's a real skinny kid about 6 ft 6, but when the Hunt Burger diet kicks in, he could be anyfink. Can you not see that it’s also the bond of having brothers play together that they trust and lift even more for the man next to them .. they have a natural bond and instinct for each others game a bit like the Ella bros or the Mortimers or the Hughes boys did .. remember the McGuinness boys ?? Not saying it’s guaranteed to work this way but the Culture that Benji is trying to build makes this an absolutely natural call
We took whoever we could during a time we were desperate and low on halves. Bud Sullivan was purchased at the same time. Where is the plan for him?Galvin (18) and Luai (28) both got 5 years 6 million offered to them to be our long term 6 and 7.
You can’t tell me the club didn’t want Latu to start for another 5-6 years at least?
He’s on pretty good coin. It’s clear we had a plan for him elsewhere for the last 18 months which seemed to be in the middle, which is where he was being played at.
Ellery was a centre 🤦🏻♂️Ellery Hanley went well
I have same feeling. I think the club want him to work like the legend Cooper Cronk did for the Chooks. He is also a ver food Goal Kicker which we need. I hope we don't lose amy juniors because of this.I have a feeling we are getting Reynolds. No inside info just gut feel. Sitting on the fence with that option, has its pros and cons.
Ellery could play centre, 5/8 and lock, and play each position at an elite level. Absolutely awesome player. I agree with you though, his best position for the Balmain team was centre.Ellery was a centre 🤦🏻♂️
Any link to that quote?Telegraph saying they have offered a 2 yr deal to Reynolds … Richo quoted as saying … I will say this … he is very very good player …. Seems unusual comment from Rich to say anything

True jad. I thought George Williams was and still is a very good half. Pity we missed out on him. That was nearly 40 years ago unfortunately very few pommy players are up to NRL level these days.
I think Fifita has repeatedly proven he lacks the proper motivation. Lots of raw material but imo would take too much work to turn into a finished product .Could we offer David Fifita a contract for the rest of the season and then put incentives into his contract for forthcoming years. A change of clubs could be the spark he needs. We all know he has talent just needs to show it.
The next signings need to be experienced NRL mid level effort players. Surround our young players with seasoned hard workers. Like what Bennett when he stated at the Dolphins. Some no frills players from teams regularly in the finals that are the glue that makes wining teams. What you're forgetting is that Latu Fainu is TWENTY. He's not being groomed into a lock - he's being given time to develop his game
Even if he plays second fiddle the entire of next year, he'll be 21 and an extremely young half.
Tigers fans seem to think it's normal to play kids at 18 who have no experience playing against actual men. Look at Storm - they leave guys in reserve grade until they're 21/22 and ready to play grade.
As of right now Latu has practically never played 80 minutes in first grade. He's barely even played it in reserve grade. Give him time to develop!
KPP will be playing right side next year and is an upgrade.I think David Fifita would be huge actually. Sam to right side, David left. Seyfarth is playing at his max capacity i feel and is mid. Not where the top teams are at. I think Seyfarths spot is one we need to improve alot in the starting team. Following that I would be looking at more options for bench.
It doesn't say 2 years, just this ...Any link to that quote?
