Saw that too @tigahhh lol as bad as it sounds I hope it's not with us. He is just an average Flegg player and gets exploited by the better teams. Small in stature, not overly quick, poor under the high ball and can miss a tackle. Just good out of yardage. Possibly landed another dev deal elsewhere, either Bulldogs through the Luke Vella connection from Westfields, Manly through the Warren McDonnell connection or Penrith as was linked there in the pre-season.

complete guess but I reckon we’ve released him & bud to the bunnies ,
wouldn’t be us , only reason he’s still here is because he activated a player option in his favour for this year knowing the club don’t have plans for him .

Klein is by far the worst ref iv ever seen in rugby league. Like refs have howlers they're human it happens occasionally no one begrudged people making mistakes we all do. But Klein is good for 1 or 2 howlers a game. How he is rated so highly by the admin to keep getting these big games is beyond comprehension imo. Maybe they're just that low on experienced refs, iv no idea. Casey Badger and Belinda Sharp are light years ahead of him and they make calls at times 10 metres behind the play cause sometimes they can't keep up. Mind you I remember a game we had with Kasey Badger where we had like 5 penalties we captain challenged and won all 5. I still rate her better than Klein.
Didn't catch the game but that first half penalty count was total garbage. How can 1 team be so ill disciplined and one team be absolutly perfect. Like the perfect team didn't do one wrong thing they could have been pinged for not one. Or maybe he just wasn't looking for it. More money for the N.R.L in game 3 if it's not a dead rubber. But they would never do that.
It will most likely be a Cup contract you would assume. That would represent a new category of deal for him, so still makes sense for a sit down signing at what looks like Concord.
