100% We have seen it all year, the ebb and flow of the games it's all about momentum and the ref's have total control of it through the way they interpret the rules and how they apply them. Iv seen some allow 6 repeat sets on the try line and we had Luai sent after 3. The refereeing is a tough gig but atm they have way to much influence over how a game pans out. Not in terms of giving away penalties but by completely stopping any momentum a team might build. What irks me is the discretion that allows a ref! They can choose when to penalise and to let go. Just penalise according to the rules! The players and coaches will adjust very quickly. Players make errors when under pressure which is normally the result of good play from the opposition.
