Neither were worth the fussWasn’t as good as Liddle at any time - despite the noise here…
And still isn’t - and it’s not close
Maybe the impatience was showing already and that was the club's attempt to show him we rate him highly and his time will come. It’s amazing how quick the WT’s attention can turn…
Isn’t this the kid we rated so highly we named him captain in a trial?
I know, it’s only a trial - but he’s also only a kid and this is his junior club.
Surely 4 months later we still think more of him than this…
The Gravyard will strike again! We heard You first time
And? Api is one of the premier players in his position in the game and his performance is as good as everBenji is just fixated on keeping Api. I get they are close, but this is ridiculous.
That's what it nets out atWtf have I missed? Can someone please fill me in or lis no me up? I have just gone back half a dozen pages.
He said he won't stay if we keep Api. How thick are people. You can't force people to stayNo
- you sign both of them and see a young kid that the club is the best place for him to be and learn. Keep him hungry and get him playing as good as he can, and on the correct path to a long NRL career.
Like every other club does with their good 20 yr olds!!
The problem with everyone talking about how good Api is, they are talking about the 25 version, not the 27.And? Api is one of the premier players in his position in the game and his performance is as good as ever

Why does Richo need a plan B - If Api extends till say 2029 then Richo you have 4 years to figure it outThat's what it nets out at
Presuming Richo has a plan b...or TDS has accessed Galvin's little black book
Until the Bears come calling. And? Api is one of the premier players in his position in the game and his performance is as good as ever
Why does Richo need a plan B - If Api extends till say 2029 then Richo you have 4 years to figure it out
U really think Api has another 4. 5 years in him?Why does Richo need a plan B - If Api extends till say 2029 then Richo you have 4 years to figure it out
My vote is keep Api
TDS is ‘reported’ to be asking $600,000 would you pay that come Nov 1 for him and at this stage of his career. Maybe not
TDS has asked permission to test the market. Granted. Is he likely to get $600,000. Maybe, but only from a desperate club (Newcastle ??) Canterbury wouldn’t pay those $$$ (at least not on the cap)
Oh, how horrible.Yeah, but what’s his family like? That’s the main thing these days. Any press release regarding a player, we get shoved down our throats how great his family is.
Richo wants to keep Tallyn, that article made that clearIf TDS was really that good.I have no doubt we wld lock him in for 2027 ongoing. It wldnt be a conversation
But weve seen Liddle..seen Simpkin seen Cherry ..and several others as supposedly the next "big thing" at hooker...
...and they werent.
Fringe 1st graders
.just guys who were too slow to be an outside back,,,, too small to be a forward..and not always with a gr8 pass off the ground.n or exceptional vision or deception.
All of Apis attributes
They just fell into the hooker position by default
So I will run with Richos judgement on this one
