You talk about spending money properly, yet you want to pay a centre 1.1 million a season. You'd send the club right back down to last, but we'd have the best centre in the game.

Ok so we just re-sign everyone we currently have and hope they all miraculously improve enough to make us Premiership contenders,
I’m convinced you and a few others like us finishing last or near last every season 🤷♂️
Same theory as when the Bulldogs identified they needed to spend big to land Crichton and Kikau.
Are the Bulldogs middles any better than ours ?

Toa is under contract next year…he isn’t going anywhere…
The problem is you want to replace like 7 people in the team with external players … they will be lucky to sign 2-3 more and they should be forwards,,.forwards win games .

IMO it’s on us as a “development” club to identify players from within to fill these gaps & build them into the schiller’s, herbie’s etc
we have ridiculously fast, freakish outside backs in flegg that the club could put time & effort into if it’s something missing in our first grade side, and not have to pay a million dollars in the cap for them
Didn't they just sign Dragons lower grader, Jonah Glover?

To isolate all problems with the team to To'a is incredibly short sighted.
It's clear for most.
Repace Seyfarth...check (KPP)
Add 2 more quality forwards. One to replace Twal and one to replace Bird...Let's wait and see.
Bird, Twal and Seyfarth give us our depth.
I actually don’t want or see the need to replace anywhere near 7 players in our top 17.
What we do need is a couple of players who are genukne quality and add strike to our lacklustre attack.
We may not be able to do this for 2026, but recruitment for 2027 starts as of November 1 this year.

unpopular opinion: twally has been actually so good this year. such a great role player
Twal and Seyfarth playing approximately 70-80mins between them each week are the problem why our attack is atrocious and we can’t score points, are you off your head ?

Crichton is not on a million dollars. Neither is Kikau.
We have 2 million to spend and spots to fill. Wait until November 1st. We will sign someone.
By the looks of it, Benji is putting together a combined Samoa/Tonga dream team.

Twal and Seyfarth could be replaced with those rampaging, tackle breaking players you so desperately want. Replacing To'a with Averillo wouldn't change anythingbthis year. In fact, To'a has scored some tries this year that I doubt many other players score.
Fantastic we will be the first ever NRL team to have 1-17 of only Polynesian players.
Will that help us win an NRL premiership ?

I don't hate Twal. Dots his i's and crosses his t's. Just saying with a couple of mill up your sleeve, him and Bird are the obvious upgrades in the squad.

He’s on the bench for 40-50mins each week, so not many.
