Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I’m probably on my own here but that’s amazing news.

He was our best attacking player pre-injury, we just need to work out how to keep him fit.
I’m sceptical as he seems to have a couple of top quality games each season, followed up with injury plagued rubbish.
So it looks like our hierarchy believe our current team with the inclusion of KPP, Mavrik Geyer plus a few highly regarded emerging young prospects and maybe enough room for one more forward recruit is good enough to take us to the top.
I hope they are right and based on the comments on this forum, we have many supporters who agree this is all we need to take us to the top.
If this theory is correct I would expect to see a very strong performance against the Sea Eagles on Sunday since we will be fielding 14 -15 of the players who we are banking on moving forward.

Fair to say we will have a very different team come 2027, we don't have a lot signed up beyond 26

He’s been good for half the season this year prior to the injury and last year he missed the whole year.

Injuries are his worst enemy, but he’s still only 25 and he should be coming into his best years.

I don’t think we will have much of a different team come 2027 as it will only be the emergence of promising youngsters such as Makasini, Andrews, Roberts, Godinet, Haywood, Taupau-Moors , Havea Jr etc that could potentially force their way in.
I don’t see us having the cap space or roster space to sign more than a couple of high profile recruits between now and then.

Starford needs to focus on his body and work harder to remain fit. Our physios and trainers have to work with him on this.
Once he achieves this his next challenge is his D. This will give him confidence and in turn we will see him become a consistently great centre for the Tiges.
Benji sees his potential, now it’s up to him and the coaching staff to reach it.
