I’m probably on my own here but that’s amazing news.Starfords officially extended till 2028.
He was our best attacking player pre-injury, we just need to work out how to keep him fit.

you aren't on your own at all. he's one of the best attacking weapons we possess.I’m probably on my own here but that’s amazing news.

I’m sceptical as he seems to have a couple of top quality games each season, followed up with injury plagued rubbish.I’m probably on my own here but that’s amazing news.

Fair to say we will have a very different team come 2027, we don't have a lot signed up beyond 26I’m sceptical as he seems to have a couple of top quality games each season, followed up with injury plagued rubbish.
So it looks like our hierarchy believe our current team with the inclusion of KPP, Mavrik Geyer plus a few highly regarded emerging young prospects and maybe enough room for one more forward recruit is good enough to take us to the top.
I hope they are right and based on the comments on this forum, we have many supporters who agree this is all we need to take us to the top.
If this theory is correct I would expect to see a very strong performance against the Sea Eagles on Sunday as we will be fielding 14 of the players who we are banking on moving forward.
He’s been good for half the season this year prior to the injury and last year he missed the whole year.I’m sceptical as he seems to have a couple of top quality games each season, followed up with injury plagued rubbish.

Starford was regularly brilliant before the injury. That Cowboys game this year was sensational.you aren't on your own at all. he's one of the best attacking weapons we possess.
I'm delighted he's been retained.
starford loves playing against the cowboys 😂Starford was regularly brilliant before the injury. That Cowboys game this year was sensational.
last year lovey, that game was. Starford has a lot to proveStarford was regularly brilliant before the injury. That Cowboys game this year was sensational.
I don’t think we will have much of a different team come 2027 as it will only be the emergence of promising youngsters such as Makasini, Andrews, Roberts, Godinet, Haywood, Taupau-Moors , Havea Jr etc that could potentially force their way in.Fair to say we will have a very different team come 2027, we don't have a lot signed up beyond 26
It would be interesting to know what we are paying him as by extending for another year you would assume a pay rise would have been given.I’m happy we retained him. He was a major strike weapon earlier in the year, just need that consistent output from him
26 next year. Got maybe 4-5 years left in himStaford atoa is actually quite young.
He's been injured for half of every season for the past 7 years.I know starford divides fans but he’s a gun when he isn’t injured happy with this extension
Well if he’s to amount to anything, we’ve got him in his best years .. honestly at his best he’s a good one but his worst games are just embarrassing. Yet to see a streamline of consistent performances from him26 next year. Got maybe 4-5 years left in him
Are they chronic injuries hes dealing with? He's been injured for half of every session for the past 7 years.
Why do we think that will somehow magically change??!
Sure It could, but probability will suggest it won't.
