I thought the only time Manly looked dangerous apart from in the first minute was when DCE had the ball. Things didn't come off in that game but if he doesn't fire they all look lost - including Brooks.

I agree with you here, media are all bashing DCE and TBH he was the only player having a go and creating. Yes, his defence was poor, but no poorer than it usually is. Problem was the defenders on either side of him were not doing their job, he is exposed in defence without Olakuato beside him.

is it possible the list expands to eight next year and Taateo fills the last spot?

there's also a chance that one of or all of Haywood, Godinet and Taupau-Moors aren't on a development deal yet. I think its unlikely but the club never mentioned what contract they were signed to specifically when their retentions were announced.

He's certainly on the nose with bellyache that's for sure, read somewhere that they were trying to unload him and willing to pay a large chunk of his money to move him on.

Could a change of surroundings from being punted provide the brain jolt that he needs for a reset, jury's out but if you could get his head right the guy's an enforcer.
