Feels like rinse and repeatMeans he is getting closer to agitating for a release.....his manager is Issac Moses
Sounds like an Irish joke.Who is an Issac Moses managed coach who could take over from the to be sacked Isaac Managed Adam O’Brien?
Well for Bula we have ratcheted up the $$ to 900k and a club option.Feels like rinse and repeat
If he does well...hes probably off elsewhere
I wonder whether we shld give Moses managed players a unique deal where we ratchet up the $$$ each year...but with a club option to proceed
Otherwise were wasting our time developing these kids for someone else
Bula will be the litmus test..has a ridiculously attractive option going forward...if he moves on.it will be 6 times bitten 7 times shy
All these ideas are great, but it ultimately comes down to roster spots and dollars. He dents the defence and makes good inroads with every high speed hit up, no half paced crap with him.
He’s a smaller nuggety totally different t body shape to Hunt, so he wouldn’t be a direct replacement for Hunt, more a replacement for Bird.
It’s about value for the player, not dollars.Well for Bula we have ratcheted up the $$ to 900k and a club option.
There's nothing Moses can do about that.
If Moses decides to agitate with Bula, then it wasn't really about the money in the first place was it?
Most players that we have lost to these games hasn't been because we were unwilling or unable to pay the player a decent salary.
Genuinely believe we have turned the corner now. We will start playing semis. Who knows what will happen over the next few weeks. It’s about value for the player, not dollars.
The perception amongst the NRL is that if you play for the Tigers then you will be paid overs, otherwise you can play for a side that can play regular semis.
Huh? That's exactly the point I was making. When considering the player in question you look at the cost...by definition you are looking at output v cost which is value. It’s about value for the player, not dollars.

agree, Doueihi took unders, May & Skelton are on undersGenuinely believe we have turned the corner now. We will start playing semis. Who knows what will happen over the next few weeks.
I’m confident we can win our games.
Worked for Cooper Cronk who started his career on the bench. It’s a good argument as to whether a young player such as Latu can develop his game more by being a regular number 14 for a couple of years, or regularly playing 80mins in NSW Cup.
Put it this way I think Latu is happy and content while playing our number 14 role for the time being, I reckon if we put him back to NSW Cup he would be very unhappy.
I don’t think he loses touch of playing in the halves by being our 14, as he will still be playing in the halves sporadically, he will surely be spending plenty of time in the halves at training and just being in and around a team that hopefully keeps improving will be a great thing for his confidence.
Richo is going about changing that perception and it's looking like we are turning the corner team wise as well. It’s about value for the player, not dollars.

I don’t mind Talakai to replace Bird as a #15, think we are finally in a position where we can replace like for like as top teams work in this fashion (correct me if I’m wrong).
Happy to give Royce another year if he can get fit enough plus we should now see Big Red and Twal in the prop rotation.
In saying that there is always room for another big bopper

Thanks ferret.
I feel like that’s not a sustainable long term plan . One will eventually have to be groomed to move to right . But I think you’re right , Makasini will probably start on the wing .I think both May and Makasini will play on the left. Benji indicated as much in the post game presser.
Turuva will definitely be one winger, and we still need a right side centre who at the moment will be To’a.
Is there a possibility of Turuva at right centre, Skelton at right wing ?I feel like that’s not a sustainable long term plan . One will eventually have to be groomed to move to right . But I think you’re right , Makasini will probably start on the wing .
I said if he stays he'd likely be a backup next season. Not that he was this season. All I asked was to see the stats in all the games he played in as a “backup” and if you can’t show that then me and poopys answer lays in front of us, it seems more of a personal matter the more I read into your debate with poppy diaper
Being the best player in a poor team doesn't by default make you a good player. He's ok, solid but unspectacular. No problem if he stays or goes.Kanaan was probably MOM nearly every time he played in that beaten side. Just cuz the side got lapped doesn't mean they were all terrible. There's a reason he got a NSW cup debut this year.
He has signed with Penrith tis true.Being the best player in a poor team doesn't by default make you a good player. He's ok, solid but unspectacular. No problem if he stays or goes.
