Sorry if in the wrong tread.
With Pre Season training is there a way where players like Sukkar, Mason, Murray, etc can put on the correct weight and muscles and be provided with Specialised coaching programs to turn them into very good NRL players. Storm appear to do it with journeyman over the years why not WT. Can't always buy players from other clubs.

Unless you are a certain fella that was told to bulk up and how to do it and came back the same weight, and made a joke out of it when being interviewed, talking about big mac meals, when in reality it was because he knew the club wanted him to transition to 13 and he only wanted to play in the halves.

I am happy when 20 year olds that have done nothing in the game leave for huge sums...saves our cap from ruin. Both Galvin and TDS leaving has not impacted us greatly if at all. Some might argue it's been a positive.

ATM, we need to improve our props depth. I would only trade with teams that can offer us players who can improve our roster. So, Parra and Canterbury, for any trade to occur, must offer us props we like!

Before we all start depressed prior to KPP even arriving- what we need is for him to be a better option than Bird or Seyfarth have been.

I think he starts way above that line already. So unless he regresses, he's an upgrade to the starting squad, and therefore the depth is stronger.

Adding in Geyer & Roberts as well starts to fill out the role required.

From what I've seen, he's not a superstar, but he's tall, athletic & tackles. He should be an advantage on kick contests & can offload. Just so long as he can run a good line off Latu or Luai or Doueihi- it's all a step in the right direction.

He's got great offload ability too

Yeah but it's the ferocity of the tackles, he's like a powder puff compared to those guys, needs to get some mongrel into his game. Even good old Alex hits harder then him.

Yeah and Alex also gives away multiple penalties, sin bins and suspensions every year. If it's an effective tackle, who gives a crap if it's ferocious. In fact aggressive and ferocious defence tends to result in misses and mistakes/penalties

He recruited them though . It was his decisions making that lead to girls like Whitfield leaving because he wouldn’t promise her , her obvious best position re. Fullback . She was the best player in the team by the length of the straight in the first season. That team that was “reserve grade” won’t be Harvey Norman when all the best girls played in it . Albeit with guns like Jess Sergis etc. still there was more than enough talent for the team to be doing much better . And better interpersonal skills may have meant a lot the girls who’ve left , would have stayed .
From all reports noddy is a good bloke , but clearly there was and probably always has been , a disconnect in the team . Look in purely hypothesising here , maybe he was white anted , maybe there was poor power dynamics and it’s not his fault . But we have lost a lot of players recently , and considering how strong our juniors in the girls were prior to their nrlw introduction( remember there was uproar that the tigers and sharks weren’t apart of the inaugural comp , as that’s where most of the talented girls were coming from ) , the whole program needs to be scrapped and started again.
The transition from dominant lower league teams to professionalism has been a disaster . Whether noddy is to blame or not , he’s overseen this , so he needs to go and reset button pushed .
I was singing from the same song sheet re. Payne and the KOE team. Not sure recent results can justify not changing that program as well .

The NRLW has not been prioritised and there is no way Kimmorley got the players he wanted.

I don’t think he’s a great coach but he’s been absolutely set up for failure, twice.

Assuming that is true, can you really blame Galvin knowing there would have been and was plenty of other clubs who would give him an opportunity in the halves.
Not sure if there is any truth to that statement as why would Richo then offer Galvin 1 million per season to stay ?
Anyway it’s now old news, but just doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Back on topic, would Jonathan Sua be a good addition to add competition for positions in our outside backs ?
