I reckon...and just opinion, that this cloud surrounding him drops his value significantly. Roosters want him gone and that alone shows motivation to do some deal.

500k would be an acceptable risk...we pay Doueihi 400k...we pay Taylan 600k...surely 500k is a reasonable value to output salary.

In saying that, we may be a club that distances ourselves from this type of drama, and Radley is not a young kid that would look up to the leaders...he is meant to be a leader or at least would be at our club...there's a lot to consider from a cultural standpoint.

News just broke he got a 10 match ban and 30k fine from the Roosters. He has accepted it and will continue to play with them.

- 18 points in 8 minutes to the Titans...

The Cowboys loss was at Leichardt too..

I was optimistic all season, but that finish to the season is of grave concern. Its all good and well for the boys to be tight, but clearly there are some issues that need to be addressed.

The main positive of this season for me is the closeness and chemistry of the boys, which I think has grown since Galvin left. The main issue is Benji's coaching and the lack of structure and game management in winning games

Radley was never getting sacked - because they rate him too highly - and they also will do what is required to protect the reputation of Teflon "Squid Games" Tedesco at all costs!!

It is an unedifying event for all parties - that further tarnishes the Roosters and Tedesco's fake PR veneers!

True but we have him contracted and earmarked for the position. It doesn’t make sense to go out and sign someone else who isn’t going to move the needle on the field and may negatively impact things off the field.

I think he's our starting 7 next season

I was told yestrday that we have lost two great young juniors that weren't even offered a contract. Cameron Kanaan and Mark Tannous. Kannan is going to the Penrith and Tannous is going to the Sharks. There is a big issue that we have in losing great young talent that has been grown in our backyard. I know a few people on here don't like it when I go on about our juniors, but because I have seen my son play against some of these kids that we have had but its a disaster that our club drop the ball here. These kids weren't even offered a chance to stay but get identified and signed by others clubs, it seems it be a trend now.
The list of them not even offered a contract players like Aiden Gow scored over 15 tries for the Knights in SG Ball, Alex Conti signed to an NRL deal with the Dogs and has been killing it in Jersey Flegg, Mikey Nasser was the leading try scorer for the Roosters and they won the SG Ball comp this year, Cameron Kannan who has been impressive and our leading try scorer in Flegg and other years in SG Ball and Matts and Mark Tannous who played a first grade trial earlier in the year and developing really well. How isn't one of these kids offered a contract to stay. I thought things would get better with Shannon Gallant in charge but the list keeps on getting longer. Our Juniors are our life blood we need to keep them as long as we can. Its one thing if they are offered a whole heap of deals from different clubs but for them to leave because they arent wanted the ball is being dropped in a big big way.

I don't care re discipline, well I see it as a tradeoff.

But the HIA assessments, how much are real and how much are Roosters trying to give their middles a break? I reckon there is at least a 50/50 factor there....

He is on 750k at Easts. I doubt Easts would pay anything to offload him. I could see Drag queens or another team paying full freight for VR. If we do sign him I would prefer a shorter contract, i.e. 2 years on higher coin, then 4 years on low coin.

Man, I reckon No to Victor Radley... but the more I think about it, it's a tough choice. Good player and good work ethic.
