some 2026 predictions
- brian kelly turns up in our system somewhere
- tyrone may ends the year at the club
- willie peters ends the year as wests tigers coach
- club approaches reuben garrick
- jock makes more starts at 7 then latu 🥲
- samuela breakout season
DefinitelyLiam Henry, Panthers , to test the market , solid player and only 24 , prop , back row , I know we just signed Bunty but would this kid be worth a look , he worked with my son and apparently genuine good young fella off field as well
Benji will never be sacked while he is the wests tigers head coach…although he may choose to step down.Hope not as that means we have had a shocking 2026 for Benji to get sacked
Great intel @Wiz . Might explain the club pushing the button on Bunty Afoa rather than a Bird - Nathan Brown swap. Here's hoping he lives up to his word because the real Jack Bird at 97-98kg is ideal as our 2nd row / centre utility.I was just speaking to Jack Bird. He said he was given permission to negotiate elsewhere (as we know). Manly were interested but that looks like it’s off. He said he had a few personal issues during this past season which affected him on the field and he got down to 90kg. He said they are now sorted and he’s been training his arse off. He’s now up to 97kg and he looked every bit of it. Looking very fit.

He started the year well. Need that form back if he is staying.I was just speaking to Jack Bird. He said he was given permission to negotiate elsewhere (as we know). Good to know his personal issues are sorted, but it’s not gonna change his usefulness for us. He’s cooked.I was just speaking to Jack Bird. I met Brian Kelly years ago...told me his family are all mad Tigers fans lol.some 2026 predictions

He’s STILL shit. Smoke. Fire.Good to know his personal issues are sorted, but it’s not gonna change his usefulness for us. He’s cooked.
Bird is a cooked goose - Liam Henry has way more to give.Good to know his personal issues are sorted, but it’s not gonna change his usefulness for us. He’s cooked.
It’s a pointless excersize as it’s quite obvious he would only even consider leaving Brisbane for substantially more money.Take this with a grain of salt.
I’ve heard some whispers that the club are positioning themselves to make a big play for Payne Hass when the Nov 1 deadline approaches within the next few weeks.
I’m sure there’ll be a queue - he does have his ring now so money and a new challenge could be a motive.
Regardless there’s definitely an interest from our side.
Worth checking the price tag.Liam Henry, Panthers , to test the market , solid player and only 24 , prop , back row , I know we just signed Bunty but would this kid be worth a look , he worked with my son and apparently genuine good young fella off field as well
That’s a dumb play.Take this with a grain of salt.

I think people may be surprised with how much we have available in the cap. That’s a dumb play.
We need multiple new recruits.
Spending the majority of our dough on one guy won’t help us too much.
richo always makes sure he has money.I think people may be surprised with how much we have available in the cap.
