Were rumours circulating some time back that there was a Sydney Club working their way around a clever way of paying a player more outside the cap and the NRL were investigating how legal it was
(Don't remember the exact commentary on it)
- Was around the same time Bulas wife seemingly came from nowhere and made her way to the NRLW Squad and the above was one of the first things I thought of...

Penrith were also reported to be chasing their former junior Mason Teague (off contract). Can't see them taking both Going & Teague (locks).

I'm keen to watch how Teague goes for the Cook Islands as he could be a low cost young lock/hooker utility who could be a bench solution to cover Api and provide that workhorse tackle machine in the middle.

Would you prefer a forward pack full of players who run the ball hard, make a couple of good tackles per game l, but are gassed after 20mins ?
I am continually amazed how so many people disregard players with a strong work ethic and believe a team full of high impact low work ethic players will do.

i’d rather we pay overs than lose him. chammas & weidler aren’t connected in the club so the info is coming from isaac which concerns me big time. don’t want to see him in a dogs jersey.
