Got nothing to do with itBroncos draw the crowds. It is a simple decision really.
Throughout most of the year Canberra draws no crowds due to the weather.
The perception seems a lot of Sydney fans aren’t turning up to night games that are free to air due to accessibility to the grounds at certain times caused by the ridiculous traffic at those times.
Add that to the growing interest in Sydney of Mardi Gras type activities over sport and it’s a no brainer to give the Broncs televised games most weeks.
A totally commercial decision derived from opportunism and convenience..and unlikelihood of pushback
A bit like our second round one bye in 3 years..!!
