Yes my thoughts are if Perth cannot recruit the players, the NRL will step in and require clubs to give up a player of NRL quality.
They can have Toa now if that helps them

Nah .. !! .. useless .. great player but put him infront of people and turns into a bubbling mess .. Maninga couldnt lead sheep to water .. when he was the QLD coach .. he did nothing except be the face of the sport (Cam Smith and MIchael Hagen his assistsant coach did all the coaching) .. 👎Perth Bears will finish higher up the NRL competition ladder than we will in 2027, mark my words.
That’s impossible. You can’t finish higher than Premiers (+minor premiers).Perth Bears will finish higher up the NRL competition ladder than we will in 2027, mark my words.
PNG will win the comp in 2035.Perth Bears will finish higher up the NRL competition ladder than we will in 2027, mark my words.
I’ll be surprised if they are still even in the comp by then.PNG will win the comp in 2035.
Thats ok if clubs have players willing to go over.Yes my thoughts are if Perth cannot recruit the players, the NRL will step in and require clubs to give up a player of NRL quality.
I'd be surprised if they are still in the comp in 2028 - the graft, corruption and mismanagement up there is incomparable. Very few non-PNG footballers are going to go there - irrespective of the tax free status of the money they might earn. If you're married you won't take your family and if you're single then you're on your own.I’ll be surprised if they are still even in the comp by then.
They couldn’t get a draft over the line, there’s no way the RLPA are gunna let the NRL make players play somewhere they don’t want.Thats ok if clubs have players willing to go over.
Legal.minefield, cant see that happening
Get over Galvin, Richo. Very surprised to see him still talking about him.
That's gone well for us hasn't it...The playing group is alright. I’d be interested to see how they go with an established coach who has runs on the board.
True but as an expat who lived there for 3 years it is a magnificent place with so much potential and, there is the availability of daily flights to Cairns for a refreshing restoration of normalcy eg driving with doors unlocked and windows down and general ability of being able to walk around without senses on high alert. 🙂 Most of the people are generous, kind and proud- its the damn rascals and the wantok system that causes so much angst.I'd be surprised if they are still in the comp in 2028 - the graft, corruption and mismanagement up there is incomparable. Probably because Black wasn't demanding a starting spot over a former SOO and premiership hooker.Interesting no one has accused Coby Black of throwing the toys out the cot the same way they did TDS
Neither was TDS.Probably because Black wasn't demanding a starting spot over a former SOO and premiership hooker.
I believe he was playing with a bad injury but prior to that was one of the most penetrative centres in the NRL. He needs to work on his defence and especially communication with his winger. That is so important in defence yet the right side pairing were embarrassed a couple of times due to a lack of communication in the backline. That is why Latu Fainu is so important to our side because he organises the defence and makes outstanding decisions for a player so inexperienced. They can have Toa now if that helps them
Different situations. Broncos signed two young halves over the top of him. TDS just demanded to be placed ahead of ApiInteresting no one has accused Coby Black of throwing the toys out the cot the same way they did TDS
TDS as quoted in this articleNeither was TDS.
So where’s the demand? Sounds a lot similar to Coby Black.TDS as quoted in this article
“We sat with them many times and said we wanted to stay, but at the end of the day, if you choose to go with Api, then we will have to look elsewhere for my development to become a football player."
