You only answered half of the question.
We all know Richo has stated he wants to lock Bula in to a longer deal.
The question is what price is he offering ?
IF Richo was offering Bula up around 1 million per season, I think the contract would already be signed.
So I could be wrong, but I’m thinking Richo is likely wanting to average out the contract offer at around 800k per season and Bula via his wonderful management company want more,

Be good if the club could post some content about pre-season training. They want connection between players & fans ... well give us something!
Maybe some ad hoc short interviews with players, maybe some BTR podcasts, some stories on our train & trialists, some highlights of fitness drills etc etc
Yes the social team put together the very creative stuff but it's not much to digest.

They should pull their heads out of their ass and be objective in assessing the situation...
Break it into 3 categories...
1. Past state
2. Current state
3. Future state
We were literally a steaming pile of dogsh1t on the side of the footpath 2 years ago... We STILL have issues behind the scenes with the HBG / Wests etc...
So if anyone isn't happy with the progress and direction, considering where we were and what we have to deal with (that clubs like the broncos and bulldogs don't), then they need a fkn reality check and to come back to planet Earth to get a grip on reality and what's actually possible, given what Richo has to work with..
If you (or any others) don't like that answer, then I hope you hold yourselves to the same standards in your own personal lives (aka what you eat, your personal habits, your spending etc). My guess is the majority wont, the tigers are just a distraction from the real world and their own lives.

When you say Past state I am going back to the glory days 2005 - 2011
Those days prove the club can be successful.
Current state - Bot so good
Future state - I am not seeing much to be optimistic about in the next couple of years. In saying that it can quickly change if a few of our players and some of our young emerging players optimise their talent.

There is also a lot of positivity and a lot of fence sitting.
Some genuinely believe Jahream is an elite fullback and Jerome is an elite halve, if that’s correct I can’t see how we miss the top 8 in 2026.

We can through poor coaching. In regards to Luai, it’s hard to argue that a half who won 4 consecutive comps isn’t elite.

A player who has won multiple premierships and also won Origins isn’t considered elite?

I think the expectations were higher this year and that we should have finished well ahead of where we did.
Maybe that’s got something to do with it?
The whole we didn’t finish last so we’re better is a cop out for mine, so is the new coach, new squad.
With the squad we had, we should have been better than we were.
Where we finished was a bare minimum I think - we got the bare minimum from the squad we fielded.
And I don’t think that was enough…
So yeah, I’m probably more pissed off with last years results than I was with what the numptys the years before dished up.
Luke Brooks would have also won 4 premierships playing alongside Nathan Cleary in that star studded Panthers team.
2026 will be an opportunity for Luai to prove once and for all how good he is.
