I admire your optimism, but given the events of the past fortnight and rumours suggesting this was one of the reasons HBG shafted the independent directors, I highly doubt the magpies loyalists accept any reasoning. If he can explain reasons how it makes any difference or helps Wests Tigers NRL team then yes.
I was speaking to Tony Andreacchio yesterday and he confirmed that is what's happening. While no longer in the inner sanctum he'd have sources. Not confirmed yet right? But I'm just waiting for that announcement. It's the ultimate troll.
The idiotic decision to extend Benji is quite obviously a culmination of trying tj please the fans in light of the hysteria of the past week.
You can only shake your head at some of the decision making.I was speaking to Tony Andreacchio yesterday and he confirmed that is what's happening. While no longer in the inner sanctum he'd have sources.
He also doubted WT could have any success whilst the incredibly outdated debenture system is still in place.
Can we blame HBG for that? The idiotic decision to extend Benji is quite obviously a culmination of trying tj please the fans in light of the hysteria of the past week.
Do you think it would have happened if there was no outrage from the fans about Richo ?
Further to that do you think Shaun Mielenkamp seems tj be a very good choice as our CEO at a fraction of the cost Richo was being paid ? Maybe we can now have a recruitment manager like every other NRL club.
I've seen a few digs into Richo for taking his 1.5million after the HBG decision to sack the directors... But apparently that's Richos fault, not HBGCan we blame HBG for that?
Is HBG to blame for anything?
The dumbest management will attract the dumbest supporters.I've seen a few digs into Richo for taking his 1.5million after the HBG decision to sack the directors... But apparently that's Richos fault, not HBG
Yes and the fan hysteria without knowing the full story also played a part. Can we blame HBG for that?

What Lonely Fans does she follow?Burgess' wife replacing him on the board changes nothing. It's still Dennys way or the highway.
1.5 million to leave 2 years early, happy retirement Richo.I've seen a few digs into Richo for taking his 1.5million after the HBG decision to sack the directors... But apparently that's Richos fault, not HBG
Swashbuckling schlongsWhat Lonely Fans does she follow?
Trying to please the fans? I don't see that based on their performance during the last decade. They simply panicked with Richo leaving and 7 players threatened to leave. The idiotic decision to extend Benji is quite obviously a culmination of trying tj please the fans in light of the hysteria of the past week.

And the past 12 years? Who or what was to blame? The fans?Yes and the fan hysteria without knowing the full story also played a part.
Many decisions such as signing Ivan Cleary to coach and signing Michael Maguire to coach were 💯 the correct decisions at the time. And the past 12 years? Who or what was to blame? The fans?
One left citing board disunity. The other was sacked...Many decisions such as signing Ivan Cleary to coach and signing Michael Maguire to coach were 💯 the correct decisions at the time.
Under Cleary, we played excellent defence and often beat benchmark teams. Maguire took us from that to several spoons, the worst defence (ever?), signed has-beens, and left us with no future! Many decisions such as signing Ivan Cleary to coach and signing Michael Maguire to coach were 💯 the correct decisions at the time.
And went on to win a premiership. He wasn’t the problem.Under Cleary, we played excellent defence and often beat benchmark teams. Maguire took us from that to several spoons, the worst defence (ever?), signed has-beens, and left us with no future!
By chance, the fan hysteria doesn't have anything to do with the sacking of 4 indepenent directors less than 12 months into their roles, does it?Yes and the fan hysteria without knowing the full story also played a part.
