He is spoken about as if he’s a god on here for some reason.
Apart from financially, he did a pretty average job here for mine and if it’s true he was double dipping or ripping us off to boot then I’m glad he’s gone.

He is by far the most important person the club ever signed, he had the ability to not only drag us out of our current mess but position us for success for decades to come. Like always we just pissed it all away.

Yes Shaun Mielenkamp is a much younger,, much more honest and a much better value for money CEO than what Richo was, so we have obtained a great outcome with Richo leaving.
However it’s an absolute disgrace a CEO is receiving a 1.5 million dollar payout, he knew what he was doing and only joined us to top up his super annuation.

Value for money is the term you use to make yourself feel better about buying an inferior model.

We have no choice but to get behind the new CEO and give him a chance to do what he has done at other organisations he has been in charge of. I was critical of him using his sons agencies...wasnt even aware it was the media side too thought it was just recruitmemt.
If hes found to be dodgy then he deserves to cop what comes his way...
Im sure Politis and the other are all 110% by the book
It was convenient then HBG punted the independents which was a convenient excuse for him to "top up his super" despite everyone being aware of this clause
Im hopeful with Mielelkamp his resumes impressive...but he still has to deal with HBG thats the big question mark

Shaun will be different but in a good way, he does know how to get success that’s for sure, he does get people onboard to his plan and is also a people/fan person. He also has experience in turmoil situations which is also a big plus - he does remain calm which is key.

Richo was a very important shift for us and we can’t ignore what he did regardless how he might of done some things. We needed someone to bulldoze through and set key foundations in place .

Shaun wouldn’t be here today without him and heard their was a view Shaun was going to replace Richo at some point anyway.

For me the key will be Shaun made permanent & the support structure he embeds around him.

How much more evidence do you need that Richo was not honest with all his dealings ?

What needs to be considered is nobody forced Mielenkamp to stay at Wests Tigers if he really thought working here was untenable.
The fact he has taken on the role as interim CEO indicates he obviously believes he can make it work.

No, but definitely HBG and singularly Burgess in particular have lately come to mind once the day is under way. That is based on my thoughts of diverse boards almost always being a big plus, including people such as bass guitarists availed a seat on occasion.

Sadly, at least football wise with WT, he has failed both us and the club/s.
