DCE has made his money, signed at Roosters to take a future coaching role in a great system (just look at all the players in this list who made their debut at the Roosters). You think he's learning anything at Manly? DCE leaving Brookvale is an indictment on what he thinks.
Interestingly chooks don’t debut a lot of halves. They pick the eyes out of u19 SoO teams for other positions but not halves? I think Jackson Hastings may have been the last half to debut?

If you buy 'em the week before they make their debut . . .
The roosters have worked out the way to convince folks they have given everyone their debut.
Go to the schoolboys carnivals. Sign up the absolute cream of the crop 1% at 13,14 etc years old . . . put them in their system and later claim them as their own.
Great way of doing business, of course . . . but gives a very skewed reality of NRL debuts, and who is a junior of where.
If they have been in their system since 13 year olds then they are absolutely their juniors that they have developed.

exactly - and no doubt signed on good money - more chance of HBG trying to punt him than him walking away.
I'd say there's a very good chance of him being put to the sword with their track record and wouldn't be surprised if he's under pressure if they don't make the semis next season.

That extension means Jack to them they will just blow the F place up again thinking with their narrow mindset it's for the best.

He is signed for the next 5 years as an NRL coach.
He wouldn’t land a similar gig in any top teir competition in the world.
There’s zero chance he’ll walk away from that.
That’s subject to him wanting to continue as a coach and there being no get out clauses in his contract similar to Richo

Young Flano copes way too much flack from the fans and media. Okay he is no Cleary, but he was pretty solid most of last season in a team that was very inconsistent. The Dragons are vert similar to us, they can compete with most sides but just lack that super star game breaker to ice the close games. They have a truck load of kids coming out of steel city so I think they will make a move up the table and be a force in a couple of years.
