Knee injury would be devastating

If you got 2 quotes to paint your house and one was more than double to do the same job, I assume you would take the cheaper quote ?

I can only go on what i have seen and that is that Benji is an extremely capable guy. He has all the attributes to make a great coach - so far the current players seem to back him and respect him (those that don’t have moved on one way or another- which is fine). He has a genuine love for the club and a desire to make it succeed coupled with his own passion and ambition to win. He has more than enough experience and knowledge in the game. There is really no reason that given the right environment in which to operate that he won’t continue to develop as an NRL head coach.
His downfall could be that he is let down by a lack of quality support from his assistant coaching team or from the club’s management and board, especially without someone like Richo there to shield, provide and deflect.

If you pay the more expensive painter the whole amount, to paint the whole house,
But then he leaves after a couple days, And you have to get the cheaper guy in to finish the job.
You're paying both painters - to paint the one house.
That in fact leaves you with even less money than if the expensive (Better and more qualified) painter stayed on and actually finished the job.

You're constant lack of common logic and continual ignorance of key factors in
any of this is absolutely mind blowing...

Definitely the highest paid CEO that is being paid for having to do nothing for the next two years or whatever the contract was that he was offered.
Easy to waste money when it's not coming out of your own pocket - that's the way our unfit "owners" operate an unsuccessful NRL club.

I'll do the job for 50k a year.

That’s what everyone said last year.
He needs help if he is to remain.
Starting last season with our game revolving around Galvin was crazy stupid. The poor way we ended 2025 leaves a very sour taste as well.
I think Benji should be used to bring players to the club, to retain up and coming stars and to be the face of the joint. I don’t think he should be their coach.

Barring a horror injury toll If Benji doesn't keep the improvement going this season I'll have to reluctantly agree with you Tuck, I keep saying it, this season is very important for him to show us he's made of the right stuff.

Elliot is not that bad , he would 100% add to our roster , injury was his issue last year , he plays the game at 101% in attack and defence , be a great lock for us

He’s a good signing, but won’t move the needle for them.

With all these bloody payouts over more than a decade were prevented and poured into the junior systems could we have been in a stronger position sooner, something to ponder.

Do you know people who have had dealings with our former CEO or are you just basing it on assumptions like everyone else who likes to comment without any knowledge of the situation?
