These Storm texts don’t look good for the NRL. I’m interested to know when they were sent, and then when PVL came out saying how it was important for Lomax to stay in the NRL. Corrupt assholes.
Reports are Parramatta told Lomax they don’t want him back.
If that is proven it would mean they are fighting tj block him playing elsewhere, but don’t want him themselves, that is very petty.
Parra are a very petty club so it would not shock me if it was true.

It’s that very reason I think he wins his case. If he does win, not sure Parra would get any compensation.

That could mean he should play in another code as per the whatever terms of his release.
That is the reason PVL is on the side of Melbourne Storm.
Why should a player be forced to go to another code just because the club he was contracted to is being petty and doesn’t want him playing rugby league at all ?
Both low clubs the Eels and Bulldogs.

It depends on the terms of his release given by the Eels. We can suggest a solution, that he is to immediately join Wests tigers on a 3-year contract.

PVL was very quick to say players leaving for R360 would get lifetime bans from the NRL. But if Lomax can increase ratings and revenue I suppose he is allowed back….
It’s another great reminder that it is only us fans who are fools. We are the only ones who genuinely care about our teams winning. The administration and players are all about money. The administration doesn’t even properly enforce the salary cap for fear of finding something that will be a black mark on the game. Only when ratings and revenue drop will the administration get serious about enforcing the salary cap to increase the competitiveness of games to get more eyeballs (and revenue) back.

Lorax didn’t sign or play a game for R360.
You can’t ban someone for something they was going tj do but never did.
The Eels have not even mentioned wanting Lomax to play with them in 2026, I doubt they even have the cap space to now fit him in even if they wanted to.
That being the case why are they fighting to make him have to sit out and not play for any NRL team, it’s just petty.
PVL doesn’t like petty bull crap and justifiably so.
They didn’t want Lomax because of his contract and agreed to release him on certain conditions, including Parra providing permission if he is to play for another NRL club. Parra are trying to leverage it for a player swap. So they should, contractually they hold all the cards.
