Lets hope our right hand defense is better this seasonWho, oh you mean the guy who used to run in from the wing when defending and let tries in, how could we forget.

100% Tom and being a local kid and knowing his old man i may be a little biased but i was dirty that we also paid Maddens wage on top to fill the same position. This news article says that the Tigers agreed to pay “part of his freight “ to enable the Souths extension announced in Sept 25 for years 26 and 27, along with Bud taking a $100k paycut …
Given the Tigers were motivated sellers to move on ,,,it was probably $250k each from Souths and the Tigers given the original deal was $600k per year and he took a $100k haircut

Rabbitohs half takes six-figure pay cut to stay rather than return to Tigers
Due to return to the Wests Tigers at the expiration of his loan deal at the end of the season, Bud Sullivan has taken a big pay cut to remain a Rabbitoh.www.theage.com.au
Yeah very confusing situation considering he wants to come home to be near family members in Newcastle due to his circumstances yet there talking abt Broncos being a strong chance. I think Newcastle will be where he goes. But then how do you convince Barnett that it's a great proposition to come here when his family are north of Newcastle.
He was released after we settled to pay $250k.Souths wanted him for longer than the initial one season agreement (2025) where the tigers contributed to his salary.
As part of this transfer, he was released from the remainder of his contract with Wests Tigers to sign a new contract with Souths.
I posted a link to the South Sydney website in a previous reply to this.
At least now I know who is Wong...
Its the guy on the end who always cops the blame when the numbers are stripped but the inside guys are just as much to blame....5 will always beat 4Who, oh you mean the guy who used to run in from the wing when defending and let tries in, how could we forget.
It was humour mate but Nofo would be quick to back you up, he was always pointing the finger at the inside defenders. Its the guy on the end who always cops the blame when the numbers are stripped but the inside guys are just as much to blame....5 will always beat 4
I think both are true. He was a bad defender and the inside defence was atrocious leaving him stranded more often than not.It was humour mate but Nofo would be quick to back you up, he was always pointing the finger at the inside defenders.
Who ??Nofo is the tigers all time leading try scorer, but what will his legacy be? I'd say he will be quickly forgotten. Sad really.
That's the result a shit roster produced at the end of his playing days when he was at his worst.I think both are true. He was a bad defender and the inside defence was atrocious leaving him stranded more often than not.
It's sad how that all ended. He seemed very bitter about something and it looked like he couldn't get over it mentally. It was humour mate but Nofo would be quick to back you up, he was always pointing the finger at the inside defenders.
Totally agreeIt's sad how that all ended. He seemed very bitter about something and it looked like he couldn't get over it mentally.
He had some great moments but no one will remember that now. Not sticking the boot in, because there was a big chunk of his time with us where he was all in, but a big shame how it ended.
Great analogy 🤣Totally agree

Was looking at a game just recently early in his career against south's, last year Mitch Moses with us in the early rounds, the guy was strong and quick and a good winger for years. It's sad how that all ended. He seemed very bitter about something and it looked like he couldn't get over it mentally.

If nothing else Nofo invented the acrobatic airborne impossible try that now is in every wingers arsenal. Fatty nearly wet himself calling it. Okay for what ever reason his form fell off the cliff, but he won us plenty of games, lost us a few coming off this wing also. It's sad how that all ended. He seemed very bitter about something and it looked like he couldn't get over it mentally.

what he did to the club while captain trying to get tedesco, moses, woods over th dogs was ordinary. Hasler was keen on tedesco and woods but no interest in Moses.
That season before he left woods was one of the best props goubg around in the comp, his form fell off a cliff at the dogs and never recovered.
Journeyman? One of the top forwards of his era. Metre eater.Elite journeyman and not a very nice human
It doesn't matter if we don't know the story. We are not shareholders in a company. All good …. None of us will probably never know the 100% story …
That’s why I call to make it public 😂
