I think both are true. He was a bad defender and the inside defence was atrocious leaving him stranded more often than not.
That is 100% right,Nofo was a poor defender but some of the inside defenders he relied upon were worse defenders than he was.

It doesn't matter if we don't know the story. We are not shareholders in a company.
Good point, I just don’t want us pushing him up early like we did with that rat bag Galvan. If he’s ready to move up then all good, maybe have him interchanging with May to mix it up?!My problem with that is Makasini has one if the best right to left catch and passes going around. Playing on the wing for 2 years he may lose a bit of that ability.
No ones waiting to be askedAny new retention rumours or external signing updates? Got 2 weeks left til we can talk about our clubs stuff weekly
He’s 28 this time next year .Skelton is a cheap building block., Convince him to stay
Wish i wasHe’s 28 this time next year .
I’m just saying it’s a factor , that needs to be kept in mind .Wish i was
Hes no dud we need to keep him
Good on him. Playing Centre seems to have allowed him to use his footwork and immense leg power to break tackles. I tried to watch the defensive tackle video highlights for balance, but there were none. BTW: Is Halifax still in the 2nd tier comp?Loved Nofa in attack, not so much in defense. Little known fact is that Nofa is of both Samoan and Serbian heritage and has represented both nations.
His reel from last year looks like he still has the goods -
His best was in his first season Hank.I still recall one of Nofo's high flying tries that was all over the news quite a few years ago now.
To me that was the start of the era of wingers performing high flying acrobatics getting the ball down over the line.
Rule changes regarding the corner post really changed things to the point where we now regularly marvel at the acrobatic skills that some of these guys possess.

Journeyman? One of the top forwards of his era. Metre eater.
I imagine they would be doing that. We really need the Mak to take toa’s position in the medium term. But fir some reason bunji loves toa, just can’t see the forest for the trees!I don't mind that idea. No reason why they couldn't mix it up on the odd occasion.
It would also be important to continue practising that part of his game at training to make sure its bang on if he does move to the centres at some stage
I don’t yes for woodsy, Moses and turdesco as they are just plain scum. But Nofo loved the club, got a bit cocky and blamed his inside men to the world. He was probably right with his assessment, but it’s something u think but not say.Woodsy and Nofo still copping it 😂
I love how much a footy supporter can hold a grudge.
All that was missing from Woodsys game was the 'truck in reverse beeping noise' as he backed intonthe defense every hit upWoodsy and Nofo still copping it 😂

"As of February 2026, the Halifax Panthers are a professional rugby league team based in West Yorkshire that competes in the Betfred Championship, the second tier of British rugby league. However, the club was placed into compulsory liquidation and had its RFL membership removed in February 2026, leaving its immediate future in the league uncertain." from The Internet. 🦵🦵🦵
