Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I hope not.

But I know what @Tucker will say, having rep players attracts quality players to your club.
And that would be correct.
Not only that and more importantly, it helps your player understand that there is another level or two above that he can now play at back at club land. The exposure, confidence and experience gained playing with and against the best players and coaches in the league is hard to measure but the only downsides for me are selfish ones. Not that I am saying you’re a selfish bastard, but as a fan I feel thinking that way is and we should look forward to a better player who is more assured of his game and what he can do.
And then yeah maybe that player will attract other good players.
But this is where it is good for the coach and club system that can develop young players into rep players and that’s when you really start to attract the best players at all levels. Then when the system is in full swing your replacement troops are the next best thing anyway so losing a player to a rep team doesn’t hurt so much.
Full circle. ⭕️
You selfish bastard you. 😎

I met him at step-family lunches, he and Mario, (his Bro, I can’t think of his name right now) would play football with the kids and I remember he was particularly good to us kids with his time and teaching us how to pass and kick properly. I hope he went upstairs to the good place.

You met him .. geez … sad story to die at that age

Jaydn Su’A to the Eels

Does kolomatangi still want to go to the dragons 🤣

You know what's funny.
MMM were talking about the Dragons and had someone old school Cronulla on, Unsure who (could be John Morris??). They explained that Flanagan used Gallen a lot to recruit players into Cronulla.
Gallen recruited this person, Recruited Heighington and was instrumental in recruiting Lewis...

Then they said, that's what Kleon would be for St George.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Sure Kleon is a good forward, he ain't no Paul Gallen.

Need some niggling mouthy so and so to get under the opposition skin…every good team has one of those …Back Door was great at that …although he was t the best human being off the field …
Ok who was Back Door?
Benni Elias?

Meh sledging is sledging. Michael Ennis was apparently great at it and he was probably only a "good" hooker.

Yeah Benny was Back Door …

Sledging is sledging … but winding up your opponent over the accidental death of his twenty something brother is next levels …
