Bunty couldn't get a run w the Wahs last season either. He's bog average.

We have a top 4 pack it's the least of our problems. We don't need some young forward that is 5-6 years off his prime years.

He was left out of the Wahs team because he blew out to a 130kgs, came to us for a chance and got down to 115kgs.
I'm keen for him to get a run and prove himself but the pack is going too well for changes, his chance will arrive soon enough it's a long season and I think a lot will be surprised.

Why would we do that? We should be able to keep them both. All 3 Fainu brothers want to play together and they are all class.

He is next man up, hopefully the boys stay healthy and we never need to call him up, however he will get his chance.

I still think he has the right stuff, he used to destroy us up the middle a couple of seasons back, hope when he gets a shot he goes so well that he holds his spot.

It's a good question! I'd be happy to keep both of course. But look at the Storm right now without a dominant forward pack.

Samuela is 2 years younger than Bula and there is almost zero ambiguity around his future bonafides. -- When we had the big 4 debacle in 2017, -- I look back and I would have gladly taken Tedesco on a gigantic contract and just let the others leave. I just don't want to lose both by trying to keep both, and if I had to choose I'd choose Samuela every day.

It was a disappointing loss on the weekend .. BUT it's how the team responds this Thursday night at the 8th Wonder of the World against the Raiders that matters .. !!
Raiders have Hudson Young (who provides more than the prescribed enthusiasm for one person) out due to suspension .. Xavier Savage is still out with injury .. and Corey Horsbrugh .. 'could be out' .. after his on-field brain-fart.
As much as i like having Makasini in the side .. i think we missed the runs out of trouble by Skelton .. he eases the pressure off our forwards when he takes hit up and runs the ball back with power and determination .. !!
Is it to early to experiment with Doueihi as a ball playing, running 13 .. and have madden at 7 .. and Luai at 6 .. ?? Playing Doueihi at 13 .. just like Penrith does with Yeoh at 13.

You’re last bit. Surely Benji must have being practicing that scenario during the offseason, so shouldn’t really be an experiment, should be more like “this is the plan we’re running with this game.”
