He will go to PNG to play fullback.
Jake Averillo is the obvious option as it’s highly unlikely we could get Will Penisini who is managed by Isaac Moses.

Api is very important to this team, but if he's suspended or injured... we are relying on Hope. Literally.

Jared Heywood is likely the future but not ready so what do we do.... make do with Hope? Go to market? I don't think Benji is worrying about this.

To be honest I don’t think it would have made a great deal of difference even if we had Api playing today, but Hope has not done enough to earn another contract with us, so we will need an experienced tough tackling NRL quality hooker for 2027 to allow Haywood time to continue developing physically and ease him into NRL.
If it’s not Verrills it needs to be Freddy Lussick or Tyson Smoothy.

Why do they do the short dropout when the other team sorring at will and there wings are foot taller and great under the high ball to drop outs and straight away tries doesn't make sense

Especially when they are done poorly as well , with no contested
