Coach Adel reckons the club has no spare cap space to bring any new players to the club not only this season but in 2027 as well…

I have questions as to next year as they only have 22 players contracted … are they really gunna find the other half a dozen or so players to fill out the squad from within the club ?

The 2 roster spots that were free I think have been filled internally and roll over to next year. So 24 & maybe they just upgrade some on dev again?

Wasn’t Luke a good fullback coming through the ranks ? If so maybe try him there if Bula is still not back in two weeks …

I've been suggesting Laulilii to FB over and over because, yes, he has played well there in the lower grades.

Is there any chance we can expedite Starford to find himself at another club next week ?
Problem is no NRL team will take him once they watch the tape of any games he has played this season, so our only chance of getting rid of him early is him taking up a Super League offer.
Interestingly his stats from Saturday’s game against the Panthers were decent, but actually watching the game does not tell the same story.

I watched the NSW Cup game v Panthers for a 2nd time tonight to have a closer look at a few players.

To’a looks broken in his body language and favours his arm noticably. He was also put away by Attard down the wing and looked slow & heavy. Another time Attard made a miraculous chase down tackle with To’a giving up on the chase looking spent. He had moments but nothing more than NSW Cup quality moments.

On the flip side, Attard was very good. Classy with touches, a couple of huge effort plays showing his speed & backed up well. Also noticably marshalled the defence on the line. His main weakness at this point is strength in tackling the big boys running straight at him but that will come in time.

Attard played alot of wing at Penrith and also some time at 5/8 maybe he could play wing in first grade if not many players are available

Unfortunately I think Schiller is rocks and diamonds

Tago dropped because of his tackling deficiencies and poor reads

Having the possibility of diamonds has him ahead of Laulilii, Tavana and Mason.

The simple truth is alot of the boys we are criticising really weren't meant to play 1s, they were here to strengthen cup so we could bring our young fellas into a positive environment and teach them the right way. Unfortunately we have had to play them and it's hurt

That's called piss poor recruitment. Everyone in your top 30 should bring a minimum amount of value.

We're effectively playing with a top 20 after several years or shocking recruitment under Benji.

Don’t know I’ve ever seen him take anything too seriously, don’t see any competitiveness in him at all - even when he had that one good game that time.

Has always come across like he wants all the perks without putting in the work.
