Have you seen Hope playing for us? Watson is better. Why would anyone want Watson for a year. Could see the appeal if it was Cleary. But Watson? No thanks.

I don't see any of those players as potential first graders. If they work their asses off and keep improving every year then maybe one day they'll get there. But they're all very small and lacking in various areasLatu has to be developed, otherwise we've wasted our time with his progress.
Then there's Karnib, Van Drie and also Kanaan that are the future. Excellent juniors that we might lose.
Conner Watson is a great player but he will ultimately be another band aid, but not the solution.
Crikey you are negative about everything. Why would anyone want Watson for a year. Could see the appeal if it was Cleary. But Watson? No thanks.
Doubtful. He'd be a certain starter for them but a bench player, with maybe a few games at lock for us.
He does not want to be a bench player, that's why he's leaving the Roosters
There’s no point getting into a debate over something that won’t happen.Crikey you are negative about everything.
I'm glad you're not in charge of recruitment.
@rihannafan1 and @Demps I think they will all grow into their bodies; they're all still young.Do you think Karnib has shown much at Ball? Granted he was injured last year but still. Is Van Drie big enough to be a realistic NRL player? He is tough as nails but a stringbean. Kanaan certainly has the speed and could be anything.
I think you're dreaming.I don't see any of those players as potential first graders. If they work their asses off and keep improving every year then maybe one day they'll get there. But they're all very small and lacking in various areas
You always sign the best players you can. If others emerge then players move on to make room for them
Maybe we should be called the Penrith Tigers 😉Just looking at the manly team yesterday they had 6 ex tigers in there team , maybe they should be called the wests eagles
Do they have a succulent Chinese restaurant there or does it just suck? How many times do you reckon Gus visited Manase in prison after his brothers signed with the WTs

He put a great shot on someone, came out of the line and nailed whoever it was with the ball. That hair is a deadset shocker though. Imagine looking in the mirror everyone morning and saying to yourself “alright, let’s do this”.Did Josh Feledy play well?
He was pretty ordinary here ..but we have seen that movie before with Tommy Talau and Wakeham ..
He also bombed a try with a shit pass to his winger in the second half. Conditions were no excuse for NRL level.
The kid has a strong carry, and surprisingly hard to pull down for his size. And that's the thing that will ultimately hold him back for mine. When Manly were walking out of the sheds on tele, he was clearly the midget of the group. He'll never be a week to week NRL centre for mine. Fringe first-grader.
Still only 21. Yet another kid who at Wests Tigers who made an NRL debut long before he was ready - a week shy of his 19 birthday. Remember his first game in 2023, and the other he played for the club. Admittedly were very weak Wests Tigers teams, but he was out of his depth. He's only just now on a more equal footing strength-wise to other NRL players.
Balmanly perhaps?Just looking at the manly team yesterday they had 6 ex tigers in there team , maybe they should be called the wests eagles
