Wow , are all clubs reserve grade coaches part time ? Only ask cause I don’t have a clue , and do reserve grade train like first grade or are they only part time , I see how many people are around Benji then look to our back up / reserve to have part time coach , geez that don’t make sense at all , can’t be money surely , what would a good reserve grade coach be worth these days 120 k maybe , any one know his background and what he did in footy as a player and previous coaching record

We went for the cheapest option we could find. That was the only prerequisite for HBG. They refuse to invest in the Magpies

Nope. Manase would be in lower grades for 12-18 months after his parole and is cleared to play. Watson would be gone by the time he's ready, if it ever happens. It's still all a long shot

We don’t know here if it’s factual … typically the NRL clubs don’t confirm/ deny stories like this

Maybe Perth, but PNG could throw a sweet deal. Although PNG may have way more experienced centers looking around.

I suspect Todd Payten is going to have problems keeping players.

No, I think it means not investing in the reserve grade team, no matter what they're called.

He is 20 and centre is a hard position in which to defend. He has time on his side.
