Not keen on Averillo if they plan to use him at 6 in 2028

On NRL Tonite...last night...they said he hurt it during the team song

They had Vision.of him jumping up and down doing the song then turning away with a limp.

Ive heard.people say after the game it couldnt be too bad an injury because he was junping up and.down in the team song...and i havent seen footage of Seyfarth taking him out...so a bit confusing all round

100% he did it after being collected by Seyfarth in a tackle. He gets up yelling at Seyfarth and limps back into position. Bulldogs kick and Twal goes out the back to get assessed - gets taken off by the trainer.

I've done an MCL before, you can definitely walk on it but it hurts and the swelling takes can take a while as well.

Suli has a bad attitude and would not fitnthe culture we are building. The way people are talking down Averillo reminds me of when we signed KPP last year, pace to burn, plays on the right and will be a great back up fullback like a Nick Meaney. I doubt Fins will release him now but he would be slot straight into right centre

Averillo is consistent and works hard. Suli is a lazy player who has 1 good game in 8. There's a reason a team who lost 15 straight don't want him

Suli could be a good backup. Just don't think he's worth a lot of coin anymore, he's lost some athleticism and could be snagged at the right price. However except for a couple years at Manly, he's not been part of winning teams.

Luciano seems like a dunderhead but for the right price would be a great addition to our team. Imagine him off the bench able to play more minutes than Royce and he's more versatile. Another who is very good at losing though.

They're both bad for culture. They're known really lazy trainers and whingers

I get it for now but medium term we have attard, Latu, solo, brooks, glassie, Andrew’s who all could adapt to a centre/wing role. Averillo is average hence why he’s not starting for the tunas! Would rather we locked up our good juniors with more upside. Just don’t like significant moneys! But I guess with bunji we trust.

Yeah let's just play untested rookies out of position in NRL and hope for the best. Instead of signing a guy who instantly is our best right centre and makes the team better while also being a proven fullback and 5/8 backup if required mid game etc.

Is he injured now? If not why isn’t he starting. Cause better players in front of him. We are short of centres cause bunji has been backing toa the injury prone player.
But get where u are coming from in a way. I reckon our biggest issue is back up hooker! Connor would have got us in the finals next season, soi needs support. Again bunji backed hope-less, bad option!
Solo needs to be groomed into first grade then we have Makasini, May, Toa. I have no problem with signing averillo but not on the reported big coin! That’s the issue, he just not that good, remember dogs dumped him.

$400k per season is miles off big coin. Pull your head out of your backside. Averillo got injured, then Jack Bostock came back from injury and got played at centre and did it so well that he was talked about for origin. (And will play origin one day) The Dolphins are blessed with backline talent. We are not. You mentioned Maka and May but they both play exclusively on the left. And To'a is a liability and will likely be moved on
