No Averillo isn't Luai's replacement. He's our new right centre. And Makasini has not played on the right hand side for the Tigers in any grade.

So Averillo deal is "closer to half a mil per year" but backended. Not sure exactly how thay plays out but $500k sounds about right to me.

It'd be backended because the cap is going to go up a shitload over the next couple of seasons apparently

There is a world where this talk is true for Blore to come and play left edge with Samuela moving to the front row. Counters any loss of Royce Hunt too. The lads at WT Faithful have heard this where Samuela wants to play in future. Plus more $$$ for middles which is better for our cap with an upgrade for Samuela.

Or Blore could play in the middle

This is correct coach wanted Blore but Fulton or others didn’t , he is a solid player and would be a good addition for Backrow or prop , even if it’s reserve grade and has to fight for a spot or off the bench

Luciano Leilua dropped to NSW Cup by the Dragons.
Is that a sign they would ideally like to offload him ASAP to potentially free up some more cap space for themselves moving forward ?
If today’s game against the Panthers goes the way I fear it will and we get outclassed and dominated oartion our edges, we would then surely have to look at a potential mid season recruit to try and help us.
Someone like Luciano Leilua would be very helpful filling in until Samuela Fainu returns from injury and even then hiscsizecand aggression would be a good weapon to have coming off the bench.

Game was much slower back then , and he was still extremely inconsistent even in those days … the speed of the game now means unfit players like him been passed by.. hence why he can’t hold down a spot in the worst team in the comp
